19.01.2022 Raffle winners who were unable to claim their prizes may do so on Saturday, 20 October 2018, from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Abundant Life Christian Bookstore, 185 Old Northern Rd, Albany Creek. Please present a copy (printed or from your phone) of your ticket registration for identification. Email us for any queries. We have prepared Sports Jam envelopes containing partners’ flyers and discount vouchers for all kids who registered. If you have registered but were unable to come, you may collect your Sports Jam envelope on 20 October at the same venue. If you are simply collecting the Sports Jam envelope, you do not need to present evidence of your identification.

15.01.2022 As we remember Jam on his birthday today, we’d like to invite you to mark your calendars for Spring school holidays in 2021. Sports Jam will again host a Come and Try Sports Day for kids in Brisbane and we’ll also have our first in Sydney. We’ll provide more information early next year. Jam’s mum (and Rie’s too!) Christina Sy and the Sports Jam family look forward to seeing you next year! Meanwhile, please help spread the word and let’s all keep well as we continue to raise active and happy kids.

14.01.2022 Despite the wet weather, 100 kids were introduced to Jam’s favourite sports - basketball, footy, soccer, taekwon-do and tennis - at Albany Creek QLD on 13 Oct 2018, which would have been Jam’s 11th birthday. Kids also received exciting freebies and raffle prizes. We thank the Lord for our sports partners, sponsors and volunteers who made Sports Jam a reality. 11.01.2022 Update: Sports Jam 2020 have been initially planned for spring school holidays in Brisbane and Sydney. In light of recent government advice and the Olympics postponement to 2021, our event will be moved to next year. 09.01.2022 Today, in loving memory of our sweet angel Ariel Naomi (Rie), we say thank you to the ED and ICU staff of Queensland Children’s Hospital. We admire and respect your dedication to care for our kids in the most difficult circumstances. Hope you enjoy the small token of appreciation from Sports Jam. Thanks too for the 1500+ views of the YouTube video tribute Remembering Jam and Rie. Amidst the indescribable grief, I take comfort in knowing that family, friends and even strangers have given their time to honour my kids’ memories. It would be great to see this number grow. Stay tuned for our next event and help spread the word about Sports Jam.

09.01.2022 Sports Jam is on rain or shine. A wet weather plan will be in place to allow kids to try out basketball, footy, soccer, taekwon-do and tennis. Arrive at 9am to secure your sports wristband and receive exciting prizes! We also have water slides so bring your swimmers. We look forward to seeing you there.

06.01.2022 In loving memory of Rie on her birthday today, we say thank you to the ED and ICU staff of Children's Health Queensland, who cared for her three years ago. They even went to great lengths so her mum can cuddle her one last time before Rie passed. This year, we also say thank you to the ED and ICU teams at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital for their dedication, particularly during this challenging time.
