This OTW is a 5-day musical workshop and is open to singer/songwriters, musical theatre performers, bands and instrumentalists from the ages of 13 to 28 years. We are looking for either companies looking to showcase a piece to gain exposure for uypcoming shows and a well known choreographer interested in creating a piece for the show colloborating with dancers from various places. Selection is entirely up to you. We are speaking with various studios and will be getting studio space donat...ed for this cause for rehearsals and we hope that this piece will continue to bring our dance community together. We are raising money for the Special Olympics Dance Group to help them reach their dream of travelling to New York City, performing in Time Square, Seeing a Broadway Show and dancing with their number one studio Broadway Dance Centre. Rick will visit all 5 states... to run workshops and host Q&A's with all aspiring actors. Rick casts for shows in Canada as well as the USA, and works exclusively with TAFTA and our LA Experience students. Rick Millikan has been casting television series and pilots on the 20th Century Fox lot in Los Angeles for the past 22 years. He just wrapped casting the 10th season of the FOX hit Bones as well as the new FOX series Backstrom starring Rainn Wilson and Dennis Haysbert and Melissa and Joey for ABC Family starring Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence. 07.01.2022 Attention everyone, as many of you know I as director of J.O.I.P, have set up a huge event on June 14th at Luna Park to raise funds to send the Special Olympics... Dance Group to New York City. This is their dream and a project close to my heart. Thanks to combined efforts of Broadway Dance Center, Paula Duncan Promotions and Clubs NSW this project is now underway. An event like this needs large funds to be raised and we need your help to accomplish this. Help me make this dream a reality for a group of incredibly special dancers.
