20.01.2022 Tuesday 7th June 2016 Both willow and Daviena are confident and involved learners, they both express wonder and interest in their environment, are curious and enthusiastic participants in their learning. Willow will persevere and experience the satisfaction of her achievement, she will persist even when she finds the task difficult.. I will promote this learning by building on the knowledge, languages and understandings that children bring to their early childhood setting, and to provide learning environments that are flexible and open-ended..

18.01.2022 Monday 6th June 2016 Bronson and Charlie have a strong sense of wellness, they are both engaged in increasingly complex sensory-motor skills and movement patterns, they manipulate equipment and manage tools with increasing competence and skill... I will to provide a range of active and restful experiences throughout the day and support the children to make appropriate decisions regarding participation.

18.01.2022 Wednesday 10th August Today I introduced a new activity to Charlie. I made a small table up with some wooden blocks and a pair of small tongs, Charlie was very interested in learning how to use the tongs to pick up the blocks. We did many other activities through the day, such as, learning where the puzzle pieces go, counting pegs and placing them into the basket, outside activities such as, sand pit, kitchen, Charlie also enjoys playing in the tippee I have set up outside. But the biggest hit today was the blocks and tongs activity...

16.01.2022 Wednesday 1st June 2016 Charlie was quite intent on trying to put two wooden pegs together...Charlie is developing a strong sense of identity, she is open to new challenges and discoveries...I will continue to provide opportunities for children to engage independently in play.

15.01.2022 Monday 30th May 2016 We started our day off with some indoor play and reading books...the children are learning to say their ABC's, they are learning to find a toy that starts with a specific letter of the alphabet...

14.01.2022 Tuesday 24th may 2016 Today was such a busy day, the girls started off the morning by playing in the tippee...then once it warmed up we headed outside to play.

06.01.2022 Monday 13th June 2016 Today I bought out some new building blocks to learn to build with, but it seems that the block container was lots more fun then the blocks themselves....haha... Bronson had a ball playing with this container, he played it like a drum, blue raspberries on the lid and thought it was funny when he made a noise...he loved picking up the cord handle and running them through the hole for side to side...Bronson is learning his fine motor skills and becoming very independent..

04.01.2022 Thursday 26th May 2016 Another very busy today... We started our morning off in the play room where Willow found her baby again, today she was learning how to undress her baby and re-dress her again.

04.01.2022 Thursday 2nd June 2016 Willow is showing a strong sense of identity. She shows interest in other children and being part of a group. Willow is engaged in and contributes to shared play experiences and can empathise with and express concern for others... We will continue to initiate one to one interactions with children, particularly babies and toddlers, during daily routines. Model care, empathy and respect for children, staff and families..
