23.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT Just an update, as a few poeple have PM'd me about what is happenning at the Cafe. As previously advised 23rd December 2019 was my last day at JoJo's. ... I did have a buyer in place however after exhausting many options they were not able to get finance organised to complete on the purchase. Regardless I had already committed to not continuing with the business as changes to our personal circumstances and the need to relocate to set up pie wholesaling made it non viable and financially and physically not possible to do both. Since January I have been back and forth to WA doing training and inductions for my new role with RIO, when home I have been coordinating everything to start manufacturing of the pies. Everything was going to plan quite nicely and we were not far off signing the factory lease and launching... Then Corona Virus happened. At this point in time John and I have put everything on hold with the factory and pie production until there is a little more stability and certainty about the future for the food industry. It is essential and limited staff only on site so fortunately John is still working, (we are working on the same site together) and I get an extended holiday until June or maybe permanently. Its an unknown at this stage SO, I have been thinking about what I can do to combat the BOREDOM!!!!, I have made enquiries and I can rent a commercial kitchen on a day hire in my local area SO, WHO WANTS PIES?????? I will post in a day or so a menu, prices and minimum quantities for pie orders as well as nutritious home cooked meals. You can PM your orders and I will deliver weekly (contactless of course as we are social distancing) So, stay tuned and in the mean time, wash your hands, SHARE YOUR TOILET PAPER and most of all stay safe though this crazy time.

I worked in natural therapies for many years during which i read a lot of research on canola oil, ( and a lot of other products) I have refused to use it ever since. Do not be fooled by marketing and media hype, inform yourself, remove artificially created products from your diet and see your health improve. Dont even start me on artifial sweeteners, we will save that rant for another day. Eat well, live well. The planet and your body will thank you for it.

17.01.2022 Gourmet Bee's from Steve's Family Apiary Redlands. If you haven' tried some of this amazing local honey, do your self a favour and pop on into the store and pick some up today. It is smooth and delicious. Coming in a varierty of flavours and sizes there is natural bush honey, Sage, Lavender, Cinnamon or Ginger flavours as well as a Creamed honey with wattle & wildflower and OMG, The Chilli chocolate honey is amazing, I just spoon it out of the jar, however drizzled over icecream it's a real treat.

12.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT Recently I was offered an opportunity out of the blue to return to Camp management. I've been mulling it over as it is an outstanding offer. As super excited about this as I've been I wasn't clear what to do with the cafe and how to continue my pie creations in the wholesale market (everyone knows my heart is with the pies). I put it out to the universe to show me what else was possible. I've since had an organic Wagyu producer contact me about collaborating wit...h the pies and the way is now clear on setting up my wholesale pie dream. Jojo's is on the market. I require an urgent sale so am asking for the price of equipment and stock only. If I can't find anyone interested by the end of November I'm sad, yet happy and excited to say I will be closing and moving on to the next phase of my life. As we were very busy at the time and John, an L plater at this went to start your burgers, he did not realise until you had left the store. 03.01.2022 Feeling chilly!! Besides our tummy warming delicious home made pies, burgers and Lavazza coffee did you know we sell firewood? $10 a Bag, $25 for a wheelbarrow full or $140 a cubic metre. This is all good quality hardwood. From next week we will also have a swap n go gas bottle cage so stay tuned and I will advise when it arrives and the bottle exchange prices.

I am very happy, but sad to say this will be my last day at JoJos, I am currently in the process of finalizing the business sale and it will be the new owners opening up to meet you all after the Xmas Break (date to be advised but check the Facebook page or the chalk board at the Café for updates) John and I would like to say a huge thank you for all the local community support, it has been amazing and we have made some wonderful friendships that I know will continue long into the future. We ask that this support of the business continues YES, you will still be able to get the BEST PIES IN BRISBANE at JoJos as the new owners definitely intend to stock them and will also continue selling our delicious Lazazza coffee. I will advise where we arE manufacturing from and alternative outlets across Brisbane that are stocking them so you never miss out on your JoJo's. Obviously the name will change, however I will keep you all informded, but firstly, I am having a well earned, long overdue and very much needed holiday. I will update the page when I have more definite information, however I do know that the hours will be extended and home delivery will be available. Obviously a few menu changes as they used to own a pizza shop on the Gold Coast and plan to offer Pizza along with pies and burgers so those of you outside the Menulog, Uber Eats and Deliveroo delivery zones (pretty well my entire customer base, but dont start me on that again, lol) will be able to get delivery.
