22.01.2022 Western Australia will be implementing phase two of the roadmap to open up the WA economy starting on the 18th May. Phase two includes the move towards allowing... indoor fitness with a 20-participant limit and minimal shared equipment. Jollettes Gymnastics is in the process of finalising a Reopening Plan, however the schools and council recreation centres in which we conduct our classes are currently awaiting clarification on the easing of restrictions on non-contact sport in indoor venues and the implementation of COVID Safety Plans. Jollettes Gymnastics Facebook Page (or your location specific Facebook Page) will have updates on starting dates, safety processes and the reopening of the classes. 17.01.2022 ARMADALE STAFF PROFILE * STEFF SCOTT* Steff has been coaching with JOLLETTES since 2012 and is currently the franchisee of the Armadale venue. She has also been a head coach at South lakes, East Vic Park and South Fremantle. Steff participated in gymnastics programs in the UNITED KINGDOM before moving to Australia. Steff represented Australia at the WORLD #GYMNASTRADA in 2015 and 2019.

10.01.2022 Dear Parents / Guardians West Australians as a whole are enjoying the pleasure of a relatively normal day to day existence compared with other Australian States and the rest of the World due to COVID-19. Our hearts go out to anyone who has lost someone dear and we do recognise the devastating impact it has had on many people’s lives around the World. The Management Team at Jollettes Gymnastics feel very fortunate to be able to continue offering your children a fun filled gym...nastics program in these times of uncertainty. It has warmed our heart to see many of the children return each week with beaming faces ready to enjoy their gymnastics adventure. Please keep in mind however, at any stage the gymnastics classes may need to be cancelled at short notice or placed into lockdown in line with State or Local Government regulations. If a Community user or Staff member or a Member of any Jollettes Gymnastics locations test positive to the virus we would be required immediately to cease operation until safe to reopen the location. With the above information in mind and the prospect of staggered school terms due to lockdown or the potential of classes being cancelled due to COVID-19 quarantine requirements we will not be offering our Term Payment option from 4th term 2020 until further notice. We will however continue to offer our 10 session Payment Cards with the understanding there will be no refund of any kind for any Jollettes Gymnastics Payment Cards purchased after the 30th August 2020. Payment Cards purchased after the 30th August 2020 will only be honoured for 10 Jollettes Gymnastics sessions within a 12-month period from date of purchase. (This is subject to COVID-19 duration) We will keep you updated on any information relating to your venue through our Facebook Page. 10.01.2022 Dear Members Thank you for your patience as we work through the challenges related to COVID-19, government regulations, hygiene, cleaning processes, personal distancing and the reopening of the Jollettes Gymnastics locations. PLEASE NOTE: The Jollettes Gymnastics Armadale program is conducted within a co-shared High school venue. It is at the discretion of the venue as to when we will be able to have access and resume our classes safely for all concerned.... With regards to the above information please understand we are unable to give a definite date as to when the Armadale location will reopen, however, when we receive approval to reopen in your location area we will contact you via text or email to inform you of the detail moving forward. This day was scheduled as a colour award presentation day, Today Rachel will review the cards of those who are close to passing and hopefully will be able to assess them this class. 02.01.2022 COLOUR AWARD DAY Colour Award Day will be held next week ---------TUESDAY 11TH AUGUST(refer to the Term Calendar). Get in early to purchase your child’s Colour Award Card, $4.00 from the Front Desk Administrator.... The COLOUR BAND the gymnasts wear on their ankle during the class relates to the Colour Card in which to purchase. Colour Award assessment is not compulsory however gives the children a sense of achievement and allows the parents to see the child’s progress in their gymnastics adventure. New Students 5 years and under commence on the Purple Colour Award card. New Students 6 years and over commence on the Yellow Colour Award card. Colours following are Blue, Orange, Red, Green, White, Silver and Gold. Skills will be assessed on all apparatus with each skill being a progression to the next colour. If the student is having difficulty with a skill the assessor will place their initials under the box marked 1, meaning they need more work on that particular skill to progress successfully through the Colour Award Scheme. If a child is unsuccessful in achieving all the skills on the Colour Card on the Colour Award Day we will hold their card until the next Colour Award Day (refer to the Term Calendar). Please understand, we aim for the children to achieve the skills successfully to ensure they are ready to move safely to the next Colour. Gymnasts will be awarded with a coloured stripe once they have completed a 2 or 3 level on each skill on their Colour Award Card. Colour stripes are to be sewn on to the left-hand side of the gymnast’s Jollettes singlet or t-shirt available for purchase at $15 singlets, $25 t-shirts.

She’s had a rough couple of years so finally engaging her in a sport which she loves will be extremely beneficial for her and we look forward to watching her skills develop.
