25.01.2022 Congratulations to Melbourne Cup winning Jockey Pat Hyland! http://www.heraldsun.com.au//a75ac666dada4688786e4c407933b

20.01.2022 Jomar Park Stud home bred JOMAR’S ELEMENT (trained by Robert Heathcote) put in a tough performance on 20th April when leading all the way in a 1000m maiden at the Sunshine Coast. Only lightly raced, this was Jomar’s Element’s fifth start, having placed third at the same course the start before. Jomar’s Element is by up-and-coming young sire, RED ELEMENT out of JOMAR STAR (by Johannesburg).

19.01.2022 Wishing Michelle Payne a speedy recovery!

15.01.2022 Lucas Bloodstock announces the arrival of exciting proven young sire, Red Element! Red Element was a racehorse of the very highest quality. His trainer David Hayes was adamant that this superbly young horse could have reached the top echelon on the track. I have no doubt we never really got to see this horse reach his potential on the track, Hayes said. Things just didn’t fall our way on Group One day but there is no question that the horse had absolute Group One ability.... Hayes can also lay testament to Red Element’s amazing conformation. He was such a beautiful moving horse and I would think one of the most balanced and well conformed horses I have ever trained, David added. Standing at 16.1hh, Red Element is without question the most attractive son of RED RANSOM available to breeders in Australia, and he stamps his offspring in his image. A dual Melbourne Stakes winner and placed at G2 WFA, Red Element is out of the incomparable Broodmare Of The Year, TRACY’S ELEMENT, herself a daughter of the Champion Stallion LAST TYCOON. An 11 year old himself, Red Element’s oldest progeny are only four year olds. To-date they have won nearly $2,385,000 in prizemoney. He is sire of the stakes performer Kelvin the Kruel and a further 61 individual winners of 113 races to-date. Red Element’s progeny seem to get better with age, and with big crops of weanlings, two year olds and three year olds coming through, Red Element’s best performances as a sire are certainly before him, said Stud Manager, Ben Lucas. We have set his service fee at an extremely reasonable $3,300, which will give breeders terrific value for their investment, Ben added. Lucas Bloodstock is located at Boonah, a half an hour west of Beaudesert, Queensland.

07.01.2022 Jomar Park’s up-and-coming stayer Supercoach made it two in a row when taking out the 2400m BM74 at Kembla Grange on Friday. Striding to the lead to take up his favourite role as leader, Supercoach had to then be content with sitting second when he was taken on early. Not content with the slow speed, he resumed the lead at the 1300m mark and was too good for the field, winning by 1.8 lengths! A tough campaigner, Supercoach had won only six days prior. His trainer Bjorn Baker has higher aspirations for the 6yo son of Casino Prince. Supercoach has now won six races and placed 17 times from 44 starts. Congratulations to Anthony Gafa and connections!
