25.01.2022 I had a massive day yesterday. I started teaching a zoom ballet class at 9.30am, followed by a rehearsal fir a Flamenco show I was dancing in (with @casadeflamenco), then I taught in the studio from 12.15 to 3.15, then off to the theatre for the Flamenco theatre rehearsal at 4pm, and two shows at 6pm and 8pm. Exhausting, but awesome. 23.01.2022 Day 1 of the MTL dance company Adelaide lockdown challenge. This is the brainwave of two of my dancers to brighten their days while in the 6 day circuit breaker lockdown in South Australia. The idea is a photo in a different room of the house each day. Day 1 was yesterday, and the room was living room. So here I am in mine. Turns out we won’t be in lockdown after. Midnight tonight, so yay for Adelaide. It's true that we could continue to experience the disruption of 2020 in the new year, but having a mindset that sets you up for success could make a big difference. 07.01.2022 Opening night of ‘Windswept’ was last night. While I’ve directed, produced, choreographed for, and danced in dozens of dance shows, this is the first one that is entirely choreographed by me, and I’m so proud of it. I wasn’t meant to dance in it, but work commitments meant one of my dancers couldn’t perform, so I stepped in.
