24.01.2022 Our Dear Friends. I should have done this yesterday but it was Jaspers first day of treatment and it was a long one. It was a good day tho! Thanks to you all his first infusion of Keytruda was administered at Gosford Private Hospital yesterday afternoon and his pain management regime has been changed to a subcutaneous system which is making a big difference as well which is great! We've been told that it will be about a week before the immunotherapy starts to have a serious i...mpact on his system so we are just trying to keep him as comfortable as we can now and let his body do the fighting. He's in good sprints and the innumerable wishes and deliveries, like this little guy, that continue to arrive are so incredibly special and really are playing an integral part of his ongoing fight. 22.01.2022 Dear Friends. Jasper has had a great day! For the last week he has been rather under the weather but today he woke up and has had 3 good meals, 2 decent walks and a lot of smiles:) I haven't seen him this talkative and interactive in almost 2 weeks and it is so amazingly good to see! The boys and I also had a rehearsal today for our benefit fundraising concert for Jasper this coming Sunday evening the 19th at The Kincumber Hotel. It was a great rehearsal and should be a fantastic night kicking off about 6.30pm. We hope to see as many of you there as can make it. I'm sorry it's so long between updates. Hopefully if Jas continues to improve tho I will have more time and update his progress more often. Biggest Hugs and Sincerest Thanks from us all here at Jas HQ! 20.01.2022 Dear Friends. Just wanted to update you on how Jasper is going. The process of beginning his treatment is proving a more drawn out process than we anticipated. His oncologist wanted another CT scan befor the treatment commenced. Jas had the CT scan today, which he handeled like an absolute champion, and the administration of the first dose of his new immunotherapy treatment should be done on Friday which is Great! The sooner the better. Jas is in bed resting comfortably now s...o I have a few moments to update you other developments and also thank every one of you who has made such a huge difference and given so much in such a short amount of time. Every little thing helps and the number of deliveries of flowers, cards, food hampers, contributions to Jaspers campaign https://www.gofundme.com/jaspers-battle-with-cancer , offers of help, healing bears and amazing books we have received in the last 2 weeks has just been so incredible it's hard to know where to start offering thanks to you all! Just know that it's all made such a difference to Jas, and indeed to all of us here at home, during what is easily the hardest time we've ever had to face in our lives. In further news there will be a fundraising concert and charity auction for Jasper from 6-8pm on the 19th of February at the Kincumber Hotel. Jonahs Road will be performing for the first time in 3 years and will be joined on the night by dear friends like Melinda Schneider, Mark Gable, Luke Dickens, Quinn Carter, Bradley Hughes and many more. 15.01.2022 Dear Family and Friends. Just a quick update on Jasper. Last Tuesday we were forced to call an ambulance to take Jas to hospital because of severe abdominal pain. He was in Gosford hospital until last Friday and then were lucky enough to convince them to let him come home. His pain medication has since been increased considerably and that seems to be working to keep him comfortable which is good. He is very thin tho as he hasn't eaten very much in the last week. At the moment tho he is home, stable, calm and resting which great. Thank you all again. So very much. I'm sorry I haven't done more regular updates but things have been rather up in the air and now at least we know what's happening in the foreseeable future. My dearest love and thanks to you all. J

14.01.2022 Reminder - function on this Sunday! In order to clarify a few questions: 1. Children may attend the event - the deck overlooks the playground so is perfect for kids. Obviously they do need to be in direct supervision of their parent or legal guardian. This goes for anyone who is under 18. 2. There will be a table at the front/main entry to the area where someone will be collecting entry. There is access if anyone was to attend without paying however we rely the honesty of o...ur friends that this won't be a problem. 3. 12.01.2022 Dear Friends. It's been a whirlwind 24 hours of love, support and amazing generosity. There have been many happy tears shed because of the thoughts and wishes we have received for Jas from all over the world! No words can convey how much it has meant to us all. 08.01.2022 Good Morning Dear Friends. Just a quick update to let you all know that even tho we were told it might take atleast 7-9 days for the effects to start being noticeable...in the last couple of days since his first New Treatment Jaspers pain is reduced, his appetite is huge and his spirits are high! This photo was last night with Jas very happy about his dinner in bed:) Tandoori Chicken and Mint Yoghurt Sauce! 07.01.2022 What I now have left of my heart I share willingly with every other poor sad soul who has ever found themselves where I am now...Those that had so many years to try and make up for a lifetimes worth of things wished said hugs not given ... and then arrive to find they are just a few short hours too late... rest now my dear beautiful Da. This beautiful montage was the last song Jasper ever recorded and put together by our dear Da Orch, just 12 days be fore he himself sadly passed away, and our dear friend Daniel Stone. Thank you with all I am to them and All the beautiful Souls who have walked these last few hard years beside Jan and I. You, like Jasper and our dear Orch, will be treasured and loved. Always. 05.01.2022 Good Morning Dear Friends. I'm sorry it's been a while since my last Jasper Update but things here have been pretty much all hands on deck these last few days, which is not a bad thing though! Jas seems to be responding well to the new Keytruda treatment, in so far as his immune system appears to be in over drive and fighting the cancer with all he has! He has been fluctuating between periods of feeling good and hungry and positive but he's also been having sporadic episodes ...of quite sever flu like symptoms (which is an indication that the treatment is working) so our dear Mum, Aunty and I have been attending to him round the clock making sure he's remaining hydrated, pain free and comfortable. We had an amazing surprise on Tuesday when 2 old friends we hadn't seen for almost 20 years made a whirlwind day trip up from Melbourne to see him. It was just so lovely to see Nic and Mini and the included picture is Jas and Nic playing Batman and Robin...the same way they used to do when they were 12!... 28 years ago:) It meant so much to all of us to see Jas so animated and happy . It was such a great day! Thank You ever so much to all of you who continue to send such beautiful and heartfelt wishes, flowers, cards, amazing healthy food hampers, books, gifts and also to those of you making such incredible efforts to come and see Jas. We have had friends fly in from not only Australia but indeed from around the world! It means more than you can know that Jasper is being showered with so much pure and unconditional love. 05.01.2022 Thank You with all my heart to Everyone who has contributed in the last 4 days to www.gofundme.com/jaspers-battle-with-cancer As you know I've been trying to raise enough to get Jas to start immunotherapy treatment here in Australia as soon as we can. After the utterly overwhelming response we have had to his campaign in the last 4 days and consulting Jaspers oncologist on Monday he has informed me that he is able to provide and administer the Keytruda treatment to Jasper as... an outpatient from North Gosford Private Hospital and we are starting on Monday! He has had a hard few days and we are currently in the middle of a week long course of intense antibiotics in an effort to get Jas ready for next week. Thanks to the incredibly generous contributions all our amazing friends here in Australia and indeed all over the world we have now achieved more than half our target!! That's enough now for 6 weeks of treatment of the new immunotherapy drug that shows great promise and also a part time registered nurse who can help care for him here professionally and help administer vitamin C infusions as well! In the last few days some dear friends have also started performing independent fundraising ventures like Steve Adderley auctioning off his microphone, and Lisa Dennis, Suz YT, Aneta and other dear souls sending care packages and even offering to shaving their heads as well to raise money which is just so amazing generous and heartfelt!! With all your help we will hopefully be able to get through the next 3 months and be well on the way to keeping Jas here with us for good! I will post some more progress pics and hopefully a Thankyou Vid from Jas and I soon but I really just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart...I really can't Thankyou all enough. 03.01.2022 I haven't really known what to say to be honest. The last few weeks have been such a terrible blur. I always thought he'd be here. It was the one thing I thought I could always be sure of!
