We are proud to report on incredibly strong winter 2020 results across the Sutherland Shire and St George markets. Our team has been consistently building momentum during June, July and August despite facing the challenges of COVID-19. As we prepare for the spring market, we have seen a substantial amount of depth across the local market, underpinned by a strong market, ...balanced stock levels and plenty of qualified buyers out there to compete on good listings. Our sales team saw steady growth across winter with a huge 2,546 open homes, 6,564 attendees, $216,610,650 gross millions in sales, 138 exchanges all with an average price point of $1,570,000. Our Property Management team have not slowed down and approved a massive 235 applications, attended to 6380 enquiries, 6615 open for inspections and 3134 tenants inspected for the winter period, with the team breaking a new record in August 2020 leasing 94 properties in the month. The Highland Financial Services team have also been busy and have experienced cumulative growth amongst both their finance department and insurance. 183 new insurance policies were placed and the team had a total of 31 finance applications taken sitting at a total of $27,343,000 and 23 finance loans settled at an amount of $18,516,000. I believe there is a significant amount of depth and property demand within the local market for quality properties. I have been selling within the Real Estate industry for almost 25 years and I haven’t seen a stronger market for waterfront or prestige homes in that time.
