20.01.2022 The State government recently announced a boost to funding available for keystart loans. They are finally recognising there is a lack of demand however there stil needs to be more done. The points below would be necessary to get the property and building industries back on track by reversing the trend of falling property values. 1.It's time to make FHB grants available and equal to established property as well as new or remove it entirely. ... 2. stamp duty free threshold for FHB needs to be $600,000. 3. Aggregation of land tax needs to be abolished. 4. Foreign Investment Levy needs to bo abolished. If we all try and get our voices heard on Facebook, Linkedin and with our local Members of Parliament there is a chance we can influence change. The thought that it is someone elses job to effect change or that our politicians are sufficiently equipped to do the job's they do is a dangerous one. Share this post with everyone you can.
