22.01.2022 We're open! The lovely Ann Ferguson (our local mayor for all you non locals) officially opened our new Gallery cafe last Sunday. Invited guests enjoyed the paintings, the company and a delicious high tea. We even had a chellist, David Smith playing for us very cultured!

21.01.2022 The magical mystery comedy tour comes for lunch. One of the best 'shows' of the Adelaide Fringe has to be the magical mystery comedy tour. You basically get on a bus in the city along with a collection of Scottish comics and get taken to a selection of mystery locations around the hills. At each venue one of the comedians entertains you while you enjoy a glass or two of wine. Or as they did when the got to us, enjoy a lunch, a glass or two of wine, a coffee and a even a cake... or two for the journey. Our 50 guests were all lovely, very appreciate and a pleasure to host. The comedian we saw was hilarious. All in all a good time was had by all. Would be great to see them again next year if they are passing.

20.01.2022 I just wanted to say thank-you for such an enjoyable day. I also wanted to apologise for staying so late - we didn't realise the time! I hope we didn't overstay our welcome for too long... I will definitely be trying to attend another class - the setting, the food, the instruction and the company were all perfect! Stacey and I both have quite demanding jobs and it was good to take a day out for ourselves. I look forward to seeing you again.... Maria

14.01.2022 Sold to the lady with the hat! We also held our Charity art auction last Sunday. All of Jane Robertson's beautiful ceramics were sold as well as paintings by Nicky Courtman, Cathy Hull and Liz Hirstle. Together with donations and auctioning the delicious scones cooked by our neighbour Marg McLean, we raised the grand sum of $778.80 for the Palliative Care Unit in Mount Barker. Thank you so much to those came and bought or donated.
