25.01.2022 For a house occupied by a large family they scrubbed it up nicely for the shoot. I hear a lot of people say 'Sorry about the mess, kids are home!'...no such excuses here...kids cleaned up their own stuff and stayed out of the shots (with some help from mum and dad )

22.01.2022 Virtual furniture. Actual furniture is preferred, however, sometimes it just isn't possible due to timing or cost.

15.01.2022 Sometimes a client just needs a twilight look asap and time or conditions don't permit, enter the virtual twilight option. It is also an affordable option for those on a budget. Remember though, property best suited to twilight photography, virtual or real, are those with unobstructed big windows and reflective surfaces such as pools.

15.01.2022 Making a little styling effort can have a huge impact. A little colour. A little flower. A little food. Here and there. Doesn't have to be a huge production.

11.01.2022 WHY REAL ESTATE IS ESSENTIAL AND SHOULD BE TRADING. Currently in Victoria people are effectively not able to buy or rent a property. It has been this way since Stage 4 lockdown imposed by the Labor Victorian Government, on August 2, 2020, who seem to believe a ‘one size fits all’ approach is the way forward in dealing with Covid 19. Why I believe the real estate industry is essential and why it should be allowed to continue trading under Stage 3 conditions:...Continue reading

09.01.2022 Recently I updated my logo so I decided to update the car with it too. Thank you Progress Signs for another awesome job, well done

07.01.2022 Sometimes you get a property owner that cares how their property looks and prepares for photography. Makes a BIG difference to how their property is perceived in a competitive market.

06.01.2022 My opinion on so called 'off market' real estate sales. Having been an agent for 16 years, and supporting them as a service provider now for 8 years, I know something about selling and marketing real estate. Don't do it if you want the best price.

01.01.2022 Never too late to learn. I have a great business, doing what I love, and have many awesome clients, and new ones coming on board all the time. However, unfortunately I recently lost a valued client and I just happened to be reading 'Marketing for Photographers' today and this following snippet struck a chord. "Remember, photography is a service, not a product." Author Jen Kiaba goes on to say, "If you reduce your service to the same things someone reduces a product to in ma...rketing, you will likely be competing on price, not quality." Thanks Jen for this timely reminder. Jen Kiaba, 'Marketing for Photographers' pg8. PS: can you spot Gigi the schnauzer? @jenkiaba #neverstoplearning #olddognewtricks
