18.01.2022 The Newsagency is a music venue I hold dear to my heart, it's been very good to me over the years. But it's under threat. The landlords have very coldly asked them to vacate by the end of the month, due to being behind in rent. Apparently there was a little pandemic that meant they had to shut shop for a while, don't know if they heard of it. In any case, the fight isn't over. They're doing drinks every night, and myself and Ferris Kite are playing for tips on Thursday nights. Let's get behind one of the very few music venues in Sydney with an actual piano. If there's anything else we can do to support Ali Flett and The Newsagency I'll post it here. Don't let Sydney live music die! #sydneylivemusic
