24.01.2022 Heat 2 for KZ2 at round 3 Australian Kart Championship at Monarto - Started 4th & stayed there. 4 is my lucky number today. End of racing for today. Up bright & early tomorrow for heat 3.
23.01.2022 Tough & hot day at the track today. Qualifying didnt go my way - landed 17th. In the heats I worked my way through the pack up 7 spots to 10th in Heat 1 & landed 12th in Heat 2 ... and yes that is an ice bath in the last picture & yes it has been used
21.01.2022 Heat 4 for round 3 of KZ2 Australian Kart Championship has been run. After being bumped out on the first corner where I got a bit of air time I was able to get back on track to position 8. On lap ten I passed Hays to get to position 7. I finished up 6th after the leader Josh Fife was unable to finish with kart troubles. Bring on the FINAL - starting position 4!
21.01.2022 Fair to say it wasnt my day on track. Placed 16th for the final heat & in the final I stalled on the starting grid. This setback cost me as I couldnt catch back with the pack. Finished 20th. Hard & hot weekend but still glad Im back on track for this year. As Yazz & the plastic population made famous in 1988 The only way is up!

19.01.2022 Nothing like a good write up for the the National Rotax Pro Tour Series in Bolivar this weekend. Feel free to come down to the track and say Hi! Heres to hoping their predictions are accurate! :) ... Of the seven categories up for grabs, Jonathon Mangos is one of the major local hopes in the Rotax 125 Light category. For the last few seasons, Mangos has been racing all over the country in the national championships, but is still yet to crack it for the big win on home soil. After testing at the track throughout last weekend, Mangos is in with one of the best chances he has had at home.

17.01.2022 The Rotax Pro Tour Rotax Light 125 final has been run. Started 5th and finished 4th after running 3rd for 29 of the 30 laps. Disappointed I couldnt keep 3rd but really happy finishing 4th. Thanks to the Tom Williamson Motorsport Team TWM, think I might play with these Rotax kids a bit more

15.01.2022 Last heat of KZ2 didnt have the best start with a big crash leading to red flag & restart. Finished up 7th. Should start off 2nd row in the finals. Final is at 3.10pm AEST. You can follow live on race monitor.

14.01.2022 Back in the drivers seat today but for something different Im not in my beloved KZ2. Im driving Rotax 125 Light for the Rotax Pro Tour Round 5 at Bolivar Adelaide. Qualified 3rd with TWM team mates Cody Gillis & Josh Fife filling out the top 3. For all the Radeladians we would love to see you at the track so drop in & say Hi. Some great racing will be on display!
13.01.2022 Results from yesterdays Rotax Pro Tour driving Rotax 125 Light. Heat 1 DNF (caught in heavy traffic at the beginning of the race) Heat 2 3rd Heat 3 5th... Heat 4 run this morning. Started 17th & finished 5th. Final at 12.18pm today. Follow me live on Race Monitor.
13.01.2022 Another beautiful day at Monarto for round 3 of Australian Kart Championship today. Heat 3 of KZ2 run nice & early this morning. Finished 5th on this heat. Looking forward to heat 4 around 11.30am.
11.01.2022 Woohoo - Round 4 of the Australian Kart Championship is upon us & I couldnt be more pumped. We arrived Wednesday afternoon to prepare & setup. Practice rounds today: 1st practice - 9th 2nd practice - 15th... 3rd practice - 6th 4th practice - 8th Improvement found with more to come. Qualifying & 2 heats tomorrow. Lets do this! 10.01.2022 IM FINALLY BACK on track at Australian Kart Championship round 5 at Go Kart Club of Victoria. There was a long wait between rounds & I was getting withdrawals! Practice rounds today which went well. Ended the day on a high - finishing 2nd. Qualifying & heats tomorrow - CANT WAIT!

08.01.2022 Racing Rotax Pro Tour at Bolivar today. There were ups & downs - qualified 9th, placed 5th in first heat, 7th in second heat (disqualified for no operational camera) & 3rd in heat 3. Tomorrow the weather forecast will certainly separate the field!
07.01.2022 The KZ2 final has been run & I landed 5th. Very happy to have finished a final as Ive previously had a bit of bad luck in the finals. What a great weekend of racing we had. As always it couldnt happen without the team behind me. A huge thank you to the TWM team for their support & hard work to get us here.
06.01.2022 Wrap up from yesterdays racing at Rotax Pro Tour at Bolivar. In the prefinal I landed 13th but was disqualified due to a racing incident so started the final at the back of the pack. In the final I managed to push forward to 11th but received a 10 second penalty for a dropped nose cone. Thats racing folks! The weather held out for my races but bucketed down for the remaining finals

06.01.2022 And thats a wrap for Australian Kart Championship KZ2 for this year with the final round being run. After finishing 4th in heats 3 & 4, I started the final in 3rd position but bent the kart on the 1st lap which led to me being run back to 9th where I finished. Within the top 10 so Ill take that! Of course I always want to do better but that will help to drive me next year. I was gunning for top 10 this year after landing 11th last year & guess what ... I got there! After ...all the rounds I finished 6th overall which is 5 places higher on the ladder than last year which I am pleased with. Every race I learn something & Im enjoying the journey. I want to take this opportunity to say a super big thank you to everyone who helps to make this happen. To my spanner man, Chad Horsley, who keeps the kart in tiptop shape, the TWM team who make it so much fun & your support keeps me striving to be better. To my sensei Tom Williamson, your knowledge, experience & advice is appreciated & valued & I know you are making me a better grasshopper, sorry I mean driver. Lastly I couldnt do this without money, sorry I mean my sponsors. 06.01.2022 Final done & dusted for KZ2 Australian Kart Championship at Monarto - unfortunately I had a DNF due to clutch issues & had to pull into the pits. As always - Thats racing folks! Not all is lost - I enjoyed the weekend of racing & now putting my focus on the next round in Ipswich. Bigs thanks to the TWM team for their support & mentoring.
06.01.2022 Heat 1 at round 3 Australian Kart Championship at Monarto has been run. Started 4th, jumped to position 3 after the first corner; pushed to position 5 at lap 3 and managed to pull it back to 4th position at lap 9 which is where I finished.

04.01.2022 The final has been run at the CIK FIA Asia Pacific KZ Championships & I landed 8th but with a 10 second penalty from the pre final got pushed back to 13th. I have been privileged to represent Australia at these championships & have had an amazing experience doing my favourite thing How lucky am I! Thanks for your support & encouragement FB crew - greatly appreciated!

03.01.2022 Came 4th in Heat 1 & 4th in Heat 2 in Kart 44 today. Anyone want to take a wild stab at my favourite number? 02.01.2022 Racing for 2017 is really turning up the heat with temps at the Australian Kart Championship Round 1 at Newcastle well into the 40s. Practice rounds today landed me at the top of the pack (4th). Tomorrow will be qualifying & 2 heats in 40+ heat.
