A systematic and targeted sensory approach is key! Just getting a sensory toy does not help with processing it needs to be targeted to the needs of your child and their sensory system! I've been doing some exciting new therapeutic training and learning about the neuro physiological impacts of different sensory processes on ...the system, which is where I got the below image! The neurology is amazing and how the brain works always continues to amaze me! But my big key take away is always that it needs to be a targeted response to your little person's needs!
