20.01.2022 It's so great to see parents continuing their children's education. I am currently tutoring a bunch of new online students, including a group of primary children in reading, and 2 other new children also for reading comprehension, and some new VCE students. I appreciate my students so much, and to continue teaching during this lockdown fills me with joy. #education #VCE #englishonline #primarytutoring #english #reading

01.01.2022 Many VCE students have joined my preparation classes recently and are already seeing results. With SAC tests around the corner, VCE students need to prepare for language analysis and creative responses, among other tasks. My weekly homework tasks include exercises and worksheets that require students to consider SAC checklists. For example, if you are writing a creative response you may want to consider the following: 1. Show a detailed understanding of the original text. Ins...ightful: explore a moment or idea that is important to the original text. 2. Write with a consistent and well-developed voice that uses or develops language features (style) of the original text. 3. Write in an expressive, fluent, clear and coherent way. E.g. Try not to change style, voice, or language devices midway, be careful of grammar and structure. 4. Use language and literary conventions that are appropriate to the form, style, and genre of your writing. E.g. Do not copy, but try and choose a style that matches the tone and form of the original piece. These are just a few examples. If you are a VCE student please don't hesitate to get in touch to join our weekly online classes. Kind regards, Jonathan #students #vce #englishonline #googleclassroom #english #learnenglish #esl
