14.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW?! Once construction was complete on the Woolshed, the first shearing took place in 1861, the flock that was shorn, was the original stud flock that grew out of William Kent’s desire to have the best available stock for high quality wool production. He regularly upgraded the stock by obtaining top bloodlines from wherever they were available. This resulted in Jondaryan stock being readily sought after as breeders and a premium price being paid for them.
