23.01.2022 How is everyone coping with all of this rain? Here are a few quick tips to keep your security in check during a storm. Spraying your locks with a lubricant after a storm will replace any oils that have washed away during the rain. This is especially important if your locks are exposed to the weather.... During a storm you may experience a black-out. If you have a camera system or an alarm system these systems will need a battery back up to continue running. Your alarm should have a battery back up built in already, however it will need to be replaced every 2 years in order to ensure it works when you need it. Your camera system will not have a battery back up.. We can install a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) to keep your systems running. Stay safe out there.

12.01.2022 Were coming into storm season so here are a few tips for you when it comes to your security and the weather. Storms can mean blackouts. Your alarm system has a back up battery that will keep it up and running for 6-12 hours without the mains power. If you havent replaced your back up battery in the last 2 years then its it time to do so. Otherwise it may not work at all! If you have a camera system it will not have a battery back up as standard. We can install an Uninterrup...tible Power Supply to keep your camera system (or any other powered device) up and running without mains power. This is also a good idea incase someone switches the power off before breaking into your house. Locks tend to dry out after a big storm due to the excess moisture washing away their oils and other lubricants. Dont forget to give them a spray with Inox or WD-40 after a big storm. Its not a bad idea to do this every year as a minimum as well to keep them working smoothly and extend their life.
