13.01.2022 Animal Day at Koala Kids Care
13.01.2022 Hi All, By now you will have been regaled with the many wonderful stories of the recent Year 5 and 6 trip to Cairns. What an amazing time we all had! We would just like to take this opportunity to thank our parents and caregivers for allowing your children to attend. This trip was expensive and many of you made payments over many months just so your child could have this wonderfully unique learning experience. As usual the children were all on their best behaviour and we re...ceived many complimentary comments from the public about their great conduct. What better way to learn then to allow students to be immersed in their lessons. Each child will tell you of their favourite lesson while away but each lesson was incredibly unique and allowed each child to be fully engaged. The Indigenous talks were incredibly invaluable and provided an insight to cultures that cannot experienced in a book. For many of the students, some of these first experiences will form a lifetime memory and it was a privilege for us to be able to share that with them. Whether it was flying for the first time, snorkelling in one of the most beautiful places on earth, learning about crocodiles, driving through lush rainforest amid the songs of native birds or dropping three stories in nine seconds on the high ropes. These learning experiences will last each child a lifetime. See more

03.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We are looking for old magazines, pre-loved Christmas decorations/cards, boxes (shoe boxes, tissue boxes, gift boxes), margarine containers, beanbags, cushions or any thing that is clean and recyclable (like ribbons, buttons, beads) for some art activities we are doing. If you have any of these items, please bring them into the office.
