10.01.2022 Anti-Rotation & Clubbells: Indian Clubs (or in this specific instance Clubbells) can be an incredibly useful training tool, they are one of my favourites for anti-rotation and anti-lateral flexion. Here I am demonstrating the Single Forward Pendulum. It is an excellent way to combine many different postural challenges, thus making it one very efficient exercise. The 3 second isometric pause is a highly valuable component of this movement and the breathing pattern is in my... opinion crucial to getting the highest level of safety and benefit from the exercise. This video was filmed on the fly by an athlete while I was teaching this exercise to them. I’ll film a better angle of this very soon and I’ll also provide a couple of pointers during the demonstration. Do you use anti-rotation drills in your programming? 01.01.2022 Q&A #1: My Best Stretch for Back Health. This is a stretch I developed years ago and still use in rehabilitation programs to this very day. If you can only do one stretch, I recommend it be this one! I call it the "Running Man Stretch" because Rectus Femoris stretch with posterior pelvic tilt and hip flexion of support leg is just too darn long.
