25.01.2022 Our region needs jobs, and to create jobs we need better roads. The LNP will continue duplication of the Mount Lindesay Highway south of Chambers Flat Road with a $40 million extra investment, and we will fast-track plans to widen the road south of Jimboomba. Under Labor, these plans are 2-4 years away.... That's too long to wait - especially now the road is a national road, with the Federal LNP Government chipping in nearly $80 million to the Mount Lindesay in the next year or so. Change the government to get Queensland working again.
24.01.2022 I know many in our region will have very heavy hearts this morning after this accident and the loss of such young lives. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family and friends of those involved in this horrific accident. May those tragically taken from us rest in peace. While police continue their investigations, we can never be too grateful and appreciative for the efforts of our police, ambos, firies and others who responded to this event (including those passing b...y the accident). It would be extremely traumatic for them all as well. I understand personnel from Boonah, Kalbar, Beaudesert and Ipswich all attended. I thank them, on behalf of our community, for their dedication to keeping people safe and going into places and seeing things many of us simply would not want to. Thank you. https://www.couriermail.com.au//1f0acff76845d66d02fdb6763d

19.01.2022 A new season of sport is on the way and Scenic Rim Sports is a great local business that can help you out with all your needs - kids and adults. Thanks for the great service and thanks for the chat about the election too! When you buy local, your money stays local and supports local jobs!

17.01.2022 What a Beauy legend
15.01.2022 The results are in. Change the government to get Queensland working again.
14.01.2022 Only the LNP has a track record, and a plan, to help deal with the cost of living.
12.01.2022 Moreton Saleyards 27th annual Moreton Prime Beef Show and Sale on today - plenty of beef on show from all over SEQ at the saleyards. Well done to the agents on a top day.
10.01.2022 50+ Canungra locals expressed their concerns last night about the issues caused by Main Roads installing full height guardrail - ie right to the ground - and potential increase dangers to motorcyclists and other road users. After I went to Main Roads about this, I was informed the ‘rub rail’ is now standard for this type of work. Even so, it does look that it’s been installed in places of little or no danger and Main Roads has agreed to look at ways to reduce the impact to w...ildlife and reduce risk to other road users. Another issue with this work is that there are clearly roads in worse conditions that have not been given any treatment - think Beau Nerang Rd at Biddaddaba- but this guardrail was considered essential. I’ve asked Main Roads to see how these concerns can be addressed and I thank the community for being vocal in bringing up this issue with Main Roads.
07.01.2022 Fassifern Cricket Association away today but terrific turnout for Level 1 cricket from the Laidley District Cricket Club as well - supporting our youngsters having a go.
07.01.2022 We have some very rich farming country in the Scenic Rim Electorate. Can anybody pick where this is?
05.01.2022 Did you know Queensland Labor is the only state government without a Budget this year? Even Victoria is delivering one. What new taxes are they hiding?
04.01.2022 The LNP has already said there will be no new taxes to boost business investment and create jobs. Today we can do one better and announce that we will scrap Labor’s Grey Nomad Tax in our first Budget. It's nothing but a tax on tourism. ... And a tax on retirement. Our plan will save on average $2,300 on the purchase of a new campervan and motorhome in Queensland. Our plan means more drive tourism, more campervan sales and more local manufacturing jobs as well. Say no to Labor's higher taxes - change the government on 31 October!
03.01.2022 Only the LNP will four-lane the Bruce Highway from Gympie to Cairns and fast-track approvals to build the Second M1. Let's get Queensland working again.

02.01.2022 Absolutely incredible teamwork from the Tamborine Mountain Sports Association community tonight to lay new turf on their playing fields! This will lead to a brilliant playing surface for all users of this great community asset. A massive thank you to Australian Lawn Concepts Turf Farm for the donation of 10,000 square metres of turf. This was helped along by the $30,000+ Gambling Community Benefit Fund grant I was happy to support TMSA to obtain last year. ... Great work all-round for the Tamborine Mountain community.
