10.01.2022 Throw back to 2017 when I painted this for @nashnalhowlett - so many good times in this spot
10.01.2022 Fifteen years ago I painted this wall for the first time. Inspired by some more organic looking graffiti I'd seen in a zine, one night I painted what turned out to be a flacid looking pinkish/tan mess. I'd trashed a piece by someone who was far more experienced than I, and who I looked up to. I remember coming round the corner in the morning find what I'd done... at that point I was still half expecting to find a dope AF burner . I was so incredibly embarrassed, and was righ...tly put in my place. It was my first brush with understanding what respect is in this culture, knowing your history and where your limits are. Since then I've painted this wall probably 30+ times over, it was always a spot where we felt like we could push our own limits. Looking at this picture was a nice reminder of how far my work has come - it's nice to finally be able to stand back and love what you've painted. To the geezer who's work I trashed, sorry... And thanks for putting me on the right track

04.01.2022 A relic from the first time I used spray paint... been downhill ever since I recon! Made in 2003 for the worldwide No War rallies. From memory my next effort was a stencil that said "Democracy on wheels" and depicted a tank. I used it 5 times before some dickhead pointed out tanks have tracks. I went abstract from there on in XD
