Fragrances are STILL being used in many popular brands of disposable wipes (and nappies) to mask undesirable smells. The issue with fragrance is that manufacturers are not required to reveal the HIDDEN CHEMICALS used to create their specific aroma as their formula is considered a Trade Secret. ... Some fragrances contain HUNDREDS of hidden toxic chemicals within one single fragrance. Why are large pharmaceutical brands still creating these products? Well, they understand that our sense of smell is one of the most powerful ways for our human brains to receive information about what is going on around us and it strongly impacts our purchasing behavior. 09.01.2022 Ouch free changing I remember our eldest son squealing in pain every time we changed his nappy. We thought he was just being a fuss pot however we finally realised his skin was actually stinging from the harsh chemicals in the wipes and the scratchy, synthetic nappy fabric. Poor little thing couldnt tell us what was wrong and we wondered why he hated changing time so much. This is such a positive shift! I know from our personal experience how much passion, research, resources and thought has gone into creating these products. ...
