Recently, Laura played the role of ‘Lenora’ in Cry Baby at the Hayes Theatre and appeared as ‘Emma’ in Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s production of Funny Girl- The Musical in Concert at the Sydney Opera House. Earlier this year, Laura played the role of ‘Gabriel’ in An Act Of God for Darlinghurst Theatre Company as well as originating the role of ‘Janine’ in the world premiere of Muriel’s Wedding: The Musical for Sydney Theatre Company. Laura won a Sydney Theatre Award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her performance as ‘Sally Brown’ in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown at The Hayes Theatre in 2016. Other stage credits include originating the role of ‘Emma’ in Three In The Bed by Jonathon Holmes, playing ‘Glinda’ in Free Rain Theatre Company’s production of Wicked, touring Australia and Singapore in the role of ‘Jan’ in Grease - the Musical for the Gordon Frost Organisation and starring as ‘Dorothy’ in The Wizard of Oz for Packemin Productions. On screen, Laura starred as ‘Sparkles the Fairy’ in the children’s television show William and Sparkles' Magical Tales for seven seasons, and the spin-off series Magical Tales: Surprises for three seasons. She also co-wrote the music and lyrics for both programs.
