10.01.2022 To all the positive, inspiring, catch you when you fall, there for you Fathers + Father Figures have a wonderful day. My thoughts are with those of you that have lost that special person, keep them close in your heart and memory, they walk beside you forever. ... Fernando Antonio Crugnale 1929 - 2017 I am who I am because of all my yesterdays. Fernando has so formed and informed me, left a big imprint and impression. Whenever I pick up a wheelbarrow, I will think of him in it laughing as I push him up the driveway we concreted together. He had a magnificent sense of play, Whenever I climb a ladder I will think of him up a tree with a chainsaw balanced in what looked but wasnt precarious seeing the world from another view point and perspective as he did. Whenever I see a piece of string, I will remember his precision in building, his aesthetic and that investing in the foundations, setting the form work well, so as not to have it tumble down later. 03.01.2022 Todays numbers are the lowest they have been for 10 weeks. Why we are doing this! If we eased restrictions with daily case numbers up at 25, wed be more than 60% more likely to go back into lockdown before Christmas.... If we wait until our average daily cases drops to around 5, our chances of returning to lockdown before Christmas reduces to just 3%. Of course, a wide range of scenarios could play out..... ...... however, the surest way to get our numbers down, and be together at Christmas with our families and those we cherish, is for all of us to follow the health advice. I hope the modelling behind the road map produced by the University of Melbourne and is the result of extensive international collaboration helps explain why we have these restrictions.
