18.01.2022 Lead Gen VS Brand Awareness I often hear agents say things like: "I just need more leads. I've got a high appoint to list ratio so as long as I'm in the door - I'll win the business" And then once they start running social media ads and their cost per lead becomes too high, they just stop running ads.... That's because they focused on lead gen before brand awareness. It's like asking a random woman on the street for dinner. Branding ALWAYS comes before lead gen... Just think about it... How often do the big brands (Coca-Cola, Apple, Tesla) focus on lead gen? Almost never! That's because they understand that if they focus on building their reputation as the "go to" authority figure in their industry, leads will take care of themselves. Real estate is no different. Focus on building your brand and the leads will come in numbers! P.s - when I say brand awareness, I mean your personal brand - not your agency brand.

Have you ever not told people what you’re working on a listing in case you failed?... Your competition is profiting from your self doubt. Here are some home truths about working with us: 1.) You’re going to cop criticism (by keyboard warriors) 2.) You’re going to be judged (by people who are born sceptics) 3.) You’re going to get results (because you’re in a space with no relevant competition) Like everything, if it were easy... everyone would do it. But it’s the things that aren’t easy, that benefits you most.

17.01.2022 You attract who you are. If you lack commitment in your business, you will attract uncommitted clients. If you don't invest in yourself, others won't invest in you.... If you need time to "think about it" when making decisions, you will attract similar behaviour from your prospective clients. Became the client you want to attract.



15.01.2022 Reasons why agent don’t utilise social media: - Scared about what their boss will say - Scared about what their friends/colleagues will say - Scared they'll get rejected... Everyone is constantly living in fear. But they forget the first time they door knocked. They faced the same fears yet they pushed through them because that's what they "had to do". But all of a sudden they've become comfortable. All of sudden there's a way to do digital door knocks and despite knowing it's the right thing to do, they're still too scared to face the fears of it.

When Mike Tyson started boxing, there were two types of fighters: Lightweight (fast), and heavyweight (slow). Tyson was BOTH. When Bill Gates started Microsoft, there were two types of tech companies: Hardware, and software. Bill Gates mastered BOTH.... When Jeff Bezos started Amazon, there were two types of e-com strategy: Pure online (eBay), and pure offline (Walmart). Bezos mastered BOTH. Right now there is a divide between agents. 05.01.2022 There are three ways to get better results in any part of life: 1. You can try to find the answers yourself. You will make a big pile of mistakes, and you will lose time, energy, and money.... 2. You can hire someone quick and cheap. This is cost-effective, sure and you'll get a few good tips here and there. However, you won’t get the results you want, because they simply have no experience, or experience in digital specific to real estate. If they were the best, then they could and quite frankly would have to charge more to filter out those who aren't serious about it. 3. You can hire the best. An affordable option is cheaper only in the short term. In the long term, you and I know that it is always more expensive. It's the same thing as eating a $2 cheeseburger instead of a salad. You'll feel good after the burger, but in a few hours you'll find that you feel shit and unhealthy. A salad costs more at first and take longer to prepare, but in a few hours you'll feel a lot better.

05.01.2022 How good is this!? If you've ever spoken to me, you'll know I talk about branding on social media A LOT. And I always stress that branding comes well before anything else... Especially lead gen. But branding will future proof your business and create more leads long term.

03.01.2022 Do you ever notice when people go fishing, they take more rods than people? That's because the more rods that you have in the water, the more chance you are of hooking a fish, right? Whereas if you only have one rod in the water, your chances are reduced. Interestingly, Facebook ads are very similar.... We will drop 4, 5 or even 6 ads out at any one time (for no extra cost than 1). All of which have different bait, different sized hooks, in different locations and at different depths. Because much like fishing... It's not the necessarily the skill of the fisherman that catches the fish; but having multiple opportunities in the right location at the right time that reels the prized catch. But let's not forget; you always need a good captain to position the boat in the right location. --------- Agents often ask me; "Jordan, what EXACTLY is it that you do?" Well hopefully I've just answered it for you... I drive the boat, I supply the correct rods and bait and YOU CATCH THE FISH.

02.01.2022 Engagement Is Currency I can't make that any clearer for you. As time goes on, your excuses for not running social media ads are becoming more and more exposed. If people don't know who you are, they can't list with you.... Even if people know who you are, but don't trust you; they WON'T list with you. So how do you create more attention and then build more trust? Well you can continue to think that phone canvasing and letterbox drops will do it for you but those who do will become irrelevant soon enough. Or you can wake up to the current century and start using the technology that's at your finger tips.

Well I couldn't help but notice his post from yesterday and it was interesting to see the comments and feedback, with a large majority of them showing concern about a lack of listings, getting in more doors and opportunities in general. Seriously guys, if you're in this situation I promise you a lead funnel and effective social media strategies will solve this problem. Maybe not entirely but it will certainly plug a few holes....
