25.01.2022 Sisters Olivia and Sofia Jordan and their little backyard farm will be selling eggs from their 6 chickens to help raise money to buy presents for under the Kmar...t Wishing Tree in 2017. From January 1st - December 20th we will be selling eggs for $5 a dozen. Our goal is to raise $1000 which should buy about 50 presents for kids who might have gone without. If you would like to order please message our facebook page to arrange pick up for delivery (Gladstone) We will only have enough to supply 3-4 dozen a week, so get in quick! Thank you for your support

25.01.2022 Olivia and Sofia went out to see Di at Funky Chicken Farm to pick up our 3 new Isa laying hens. Di was lovely enough to take us for a drive around the farm to visit all the animals and even help with feeding them. Fun morning out

24.01.2022 5 chickens (RIP April) and were only getting 2 eggs a day... or should we call this 1 1/2 eggs

23.01.2022 Next dozen eggs is ready to go! One dozen free range, kiddy cuddled and smothered eggs for just $5 who would like them????

22.01.2022 Only 2 weeks till we crack this tin open! Lazy little chickens have laid a lot less than expected and going to fall well short of the $1000 goal we set, but even a couple hundred dollars will be enough to stock up a trolley full of toys for under the Kmart wishing tree

22.01.2022 Having a panic attack not being able to find Sofia in the back yard, I heard a little voice coming from inside the chicken coop... apparently she was telling April the chicken a story while she laid an egg covered in chicken poo is a bit of an understatement!

22.01.2022 Going from 4-5 eggs a day to 1-2 calls for desperate measures. Let's put the Facebook post to the test! Let's see if out of date yoghurt produces mass eggs... We will keep you posted

21.01.2022 So Minnie is finally laying eggs... Or should I say half an egg

12.01.2022 After a slow laying start we finally have our first dozen eggs! Thank you to Kay and Shane who purchased the first dozen PLUS they also put a put a few more dollars in the tin to get them started

12.01.2022 After 51 weeks of collecting eggs, cleaning chicken poo and a billion chicken cuddles it's time to crack open the money collection tin. So the final tally is... $215!!!! Now off to Kmart tonight to fill a trolley full of toys and place them under the wishing tree

08.01.2022 Jose has been hard at work 'pimping' out the chickens coop!

05.01.2022 The chickens are smothered with daily dose of cuddles but egg production is at an all time low due to the heat. Lucky to get 2-3 eggs a day from 6 chickens... fingers crossed it picks up soon so we can keep everyone stocked up!

04.01.2022 Sunday chills with Minnie and Micky
