25.01.2022 Congratulations to Maree Dougall on winning The Red Dragon! A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported Movemeber. I really appreciated all your messages and I hope to do it all again next year. Thanks for the support as always

24.01.2022 Everyone loves seeing photos with Molly in them, so I thought I’d give you a whole series of them plus some fun facts about her. 1) Molly has survived a snake bite and had to spend a night at the vet. As soon as she got home from the vet she was straight back under the shed to look for the snake! 2) Molly generally has to sleep inside at night otherwise she will generally bark and chase stray foxes and harass our resident barn owl. It’s funny at first but grows old pr...etty quickly when it’s 1am. 3) Molly’s favourite person can change depending on the time of the day. If you are doing fun activities or have some sort of food in your hand she’s your best mate. 4) Molly dislikes bobtail lizards, baths, cats stealing her food, guns and being left behind. 5) Molly loves bushwalks, tummy scratches, riding on the motorbike and harassing the chooks! Let me know which one you would like to see below! ... 23.01.2022 Before I left for my holidays I started my biggest project yet, The White Rhino. I thought I would let you in on the process so far and the plan going forward: So far: - I have sourced the model online - Have achieved an accurate drawing (did this myself)... - Cut out the shape using my Hypertherm Asia Pacific plasma cutter Now that I am home from my holidays the plan is: - Start sourcing steel from my personal collection - Buy a bunch of audio books - Stock up on iced coffee! I am predicting this project is going to take anywhere between 400/500 hours so stay tuned to my stories on here and my Instagram to see it happen in real time. To see a short video of my drawing head to the comment section. Jordan

21.01.2022 What a load of Bull! Half a tonne to be exact! The Brahman was breathalysed and questioned by Western Australia Police Force at the Covid border gate, and thankfully was let off with a warning. He now travels over 4000km by truck to his new home in NSW. Travel well big boy

20.01.2022 Awesome to have this turtle sculpture in my abode. The turtle is a significant totem in Fijian culture so it will be highly admired and cherished by not only myself and my family here, but those overseas as well. Stoked!!! - Nic Naitanui Surfs Up (2018) has found a fitting home at West Coast Eagles star Nic Naitanui’s. A highlight of my job is delivering and installing my sculptures to my clients and learning more about them and this was no exception. I was able to give Nic a few pointers on his contested marking which I think he appreciated. Look after him for me mate.

17.01.2022 Garden Sculptures I don't do many garden sculptures anymore as I am trying to create pieces that will be on public display for more people to enjoy, but I cant help to look back at some of the sculptures I have created for gardens over the last six years. The dynamics of mixing two elements (rose bush, and bee) is really exciting and the outcome is always rewarding. Which sculpture do you think would best suit your garden, and why?... Jordan PS) Please excuse the chewed up piece of Mango sitting next to Molly in some of these photos. 17.01.2022 It's been a while since I've told you all a bit about myself, so here are 5 fun facts. 1. Creating sculptures is just one of my passions. I am also very passionate about Mental Health. I have a degree in Psychology and would love to combine the two passions together one day. 2. In my free time I love fishing, camping and enjoying the great outdoors. I feel so lucky to live in Australia. I also don’t mind an ice coffee or two...... 3. I’m a sports nut. I love my cricket, golf and hockey. But I enjoy watching most sports. 4. My favourite project is generally the one I’m building at the time. However I did particularly enjoy building the rearing horse. 5. An animal I would love to create in the next year is a White Rhinoceros I hope you have liked learning a little bit about me. What do you think of #5? Which animal would you like to see me create? I’ve done big pieces before but this guy is on another level, just the sheer thickness of these animals is mind boggling. A few things I have learnt along the way:... - I forget how much a weld down your sock hurts - You can never add too many spanners - Make sure your ladder is secure while you weld the high points - Enjoy the process! Tuesday was also World Rhino Day so I thought it’d be fitting to do a post this week. They are amazing animals.

05.01.2022 Welcome to Narembeen! I often get asked where abouts I am from. For those of you who don’t know, I come from the little Wheatbelt town of Narembeen, Western Australia. Narembeen is a small wheat and sheep farming community that is about 300km east of Perth. With a population of around 800 people it is rare not to know someone as you walk down the Main Street. The Narembeen community has always been a huge supporter of my sculptures and has had a... big influence on the person I am today. I currently have 4 sculptures scattered through out Narembeen at the moment, 2 being permanent installations and 2 pieces on short term loan. If you ever want to do a road trip come and check out the eastern Wheatbelt. Grab yourself a coffee, pose with the sculptures and see Australia’s great outback. If you haven’t already come check me out on Instagram @jordanspriggsculptures for more updates.

04.01.2022 What the heck is that!? Over the past 7 years I’ve had to do a number of trips over our state to deliver my sculptures. It’s a rather nerve racking experience, although it’s a great way to advertise your work in a very unique way. If only I had a camera to capture people’s (and animals) expressions as I drive by! One day I’ll have to do a state wide tour with a big sculpture on the back. Dropping into schools, men’s sheds and aged care homes

03.01.2022 If you have been watching my Facebook Stories you would know I am currently on holiday in Exmouth. I have had a great time relaxing, fishing, and even took a plunge in the ocean with some sharks on Monday! My holiday is far from over yet, though. So, I thought we could chat about some of the aquatic animals I have created so far. Hippocampus... Elusive Barra Ocean Voyager ( https://bit.ly/2P6Ju14 ) Hammerhead Never Smile At A Croc (https://bit.ly/2P0xHBA) The Great Barracuda (https://bit.ly/3jT94Fg) The Sky Surfer The Bonito The Kraken Surf's Up Iron Claw What aquatic animal do you think I need to tackle next?

01.01.2022 What was your favourite piece for 2019?! Thanks everyone for your support as usual, very much appreciated. Hope you all have a great 2020
