18.01.2022 ACUPUNCTURE NEEDLES People always ask me if acupuncture is painful. Swipe across to see how tiny these needles are ............... Most people say to me after a treatment that they cant believe having needles in the body is so relaxing Everyone has a different pain tolerance, for some people the needles are barley felt, and others may feel the needles for a short period whilst they are being inserted. Once the needles are in we leave them to do their magic for 20-30 minutes.. and you get some time to relax If you are sensitive or nervous we can use even finer needles to make you feel comfortable. So if youre on the fence because you fear the needles, come give it a go... I think youll be pleasantly surprised @ Frisbee Health and Chiropractic

This creates the bruise look, on the skin, however Cupping is not painful, it feels good Chinese cupping is therefore a method of breaking up the blockage to restore the bodys natural flow of energy. @lovecupping

10.01.2022 PULSE DIAGNOSIS In Chinese Medicine pulse diagnosis is an important tool used to assess the overall health of the Qi & Blood in the Organ systems. What are we feeling for when taking your pulse?... Not only the volume, strength and speed of the pulse, we also feel for the quality of the pulse in the different organ systems, swipe across The different qualities of the pulse can include; wiry, slippery, tight, floating, flooding, deficient, soft, deep.. and many, many more. A commonly found pulse is wiry. This pulse feels like a wire to the fingertips and typically points to an imbalance of the Liver Qi. This type of person may be stressed, easily angered, have tense muscles, sigh frequently and have hypochondriac (rib) pain and in females irregular and painful periods. These signs and symptoms are due to the Liver failing to govern the smooth flow of Qi throughout the body. A little TLC such as Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, regular down time and exercise/movement can help regulate the Liver Qi and ease these symptoms #pulsediagnosis #acupuncture @ Adelaide, South Australia

03.01.2022 Meridians/ Channels In Chinese Medicine theory our bodies consist of an energetic web known as the meridian system. The meridians, also called channels, link different parts of the body together. This is why acupuncture points on the feet and hands may be used to treat issues with the head and face. ... Meridians are pathways that carry Qi (vital energy). Acupuncture points are sites along these channels where Qi of the meridians and organs are carried to the surface.
