15.01.2022 It’s a bit over 24 hours since my little buddy finished her 4200k solo bike ride around Qld ...torturous 55+ deg off the road Longreach area to home Victoria... Point 12 deg freezing and raining. All Jo could say was oh well I guess it could have been hailing too!. She makes me re-think perseverence, endurance, humility, fragility, strength and courage. It is fitting that this same weekend, sub 2 hour marathon achieved from same country Jo fundraising for (albeit Kipchoge running for Kenya and Jo riding for Zambia) Either ways, the hare and the tortoise (lol sorry Jo ) both prevailed in proving what appears to be impossible is achievable.
