25.01.2022 Trying something for the cat lovers. This is beautiful Georgia Girl. Multiple internal pockets, key holder hook, external pocket on the back for mobile phone. Bag stands 11 1/2 inches tall, 14 inches wide with a 4 x 10 inch base. Handles are approx 26 inches long - plenty long enough to go over shoulder.

19.01.2022 This is the first bag that I prepared to make from the Emmaline Bags pattern. I prepped ready to make the bag with handles and exterior pockets only to cut the box corners 3" instead of 2" as they should have been as directed in the video tutorial. Sooo, added handles differently and no external pockets BUT I did manage to make it up today. I prefer the final shape of this one ... think I'll do a few more modifications to the next one. Yep, I'll definitely be making another one.
19.01.2022 Hot off the machine this morning. This gorgeous 'Gladstone' styled bag in an amazing fabric that isn't actually patchwork! It has an almost suede like feel ... although is is a woven fabric. The frame holds the bag open to reveal coordinating lining, loads of internal pockets and oodles of room. Base measures 13" x 5" ... massive! Double pull zipper across the top to keep goodies secure, bags feet, key holder and 30" long double handles complete this amazing bag.

07.01.2022 Had to make up this beautiful fabric. Unfortunately my photography doesn't do it justice. The colours are sharp, clear and bright. Shiny 'jewel' button as decoration over closure clip. All made on my Husqvarna Epic 2 ... which I've named Hermione Jean as she is pure magic.
06.01.2022 Very slim on the sewing this past week. One bag on the cutting table atm. BUT I did do a big de-stash and tidy up of my room. Replaced a mis-match of drawers with 4 lovely Aldi sets of drawers. Mind you, it took us 3 days to assemble them and find the correct spots in the room.

06.01.2022 Jungle anyone? This is my original 'Handy Handbag' pattern. Faux fur outer with coordinating cotton lining. Plenty of pockets and key holder too. Base is approx 9 x 6 inches. Bag rises 8 inches, 16 inches wide across the top and handles about 22 inches with leather hand grips.
06.01.2022 Latest tote ... this one has the beautiful galah panel from River City Sewing at Tingalpa teamed with a fine corrected surface grain leather. Lining is the on-trend Jocelyn Proust 100% cotton.

Work In Progress Bags ... are designed to keep your current knitting, crochet, hand embroidery, etc project all in one place and securely on your arm/wrist while travelling. Nothing worse than looking for your wool on the floor of a plane mid-flight.
06.01.2022 Just finished this lovely chambray print Stowe Bag for my sister Suellen. Thanks to my b-i-l Mick for making me some more frames. Apparently it's easy with the right equipment. I'm set to make more when I get home next week. Now taking orders if anyone is interested!
06.01.2022 Made this one yesterday ... took all day to do the embroidery and broke 2 needles in construction. Sometimes it's just worth it though.

02.01.2022 I've been busy making some special order Poppins Crafting Bags. These bags are big enough to hold the largest crochet/knitting/quilting project WIP. 18" high x 24" wide. MASSIVE! Following on from the special orders, I made one on spec ... a beautiful kookaburra panel as the main fabric and teamed up with wattle yellow for the lining. This one has an internal pocket large enough to take a magazine, double slide zipper, a large metal frame which holds the bag open and best of all it's ready to go to a new home! Special price ... $175.00. Pick up from Wynnum. Postage could be arranged but $$$.

01.01.2022 A very happy customer this morning when she took delivery of her Poppins Crafting Bag. And thank you for the lovely flowers Donna. I'm now on to bag number 3 .... half way through the first one I said "NEVER AGAIN" but I love the bag and the process. And now there's an order for another one on my work table too.
