IT IS SIMPLY MY VIEW OF THE INFORMATION WE HAVE RECEIVED ABOUT 7q DELETION SYNDROME AND MY WAY OF EXPLAINING ...IN A NON-MEDICAL TERM** Did you know??? The biggest symptom of 7q Deletion Syndrome is that you are super cute?! Obviously, I AM JOKING!!! 7q deletion is a tricky one. Even if we were to gather all of the children with 7q Deletion together, the odds of them each having the exact same deletion is unlikely. The way I see it is simple. Its like giving each child with 7q Deletion a piece of string that represents the long arm (q) of chromosome 7. You then give each child a pair of scissors and instruct them to cut out a chunk of string any size they so desire. What are the odds of those children cutting out the exact same size of string? Highly unlikely. RARE. The odds are the same with 7q deletion. It may explain each individual childs symptoms or struggles to some degree, but they are still all very different. The only similarity I personally have been able to find between any child with 7q has been that they are SUPER CUTE!!! PLEASE- LIKE & SHARE.
