18.01.2022 Thank you to all my supporters who have contacted me to see if I am okay , post my tragic election result . Albeit had the best experience and in a happy place CALLED HOME . So this is a Post election Candidate to do list Start the Self Isolation best you can and rest ( have had a bit of a cold) though managed to go out for the essential daily latte !... Few hours of office work that has been waiting for me almost done !! Then a whole lot of house chores (when not sleeping) Now for the Chores that you put off for a rainy day , then when it rains you go to the movies ! Husbands tax and filing - my penance for all his support during the campaign !! Darling man Clean out my drawers - 3 small achieved today 10 to go ! Not counting cutlery !! After checking through all the cupboards where boxes of family photos and personal filing is cleverly out of sight , I have worked a time plan to do it all. So my self isolation maybe extended and I could be finished by the next election !! Just joking husband !!! Congratulations to Brooke Patterson for winning the seat and the brilliant other Div 6 candidates Michael , Shaelee and Susie all community champions ! Life goes on and yes for me my high priority is to get the 2020 Gold Coast Show literally on the road See you at Show later in the year

14.01.2022 Wonderful morning at the International Women’s Day Breakfast yesterday as a guest of Karen J Bailey Southport Bartercard Manager. I loved the beautiful flower arrangement and meeting women - one of whom took my Women at Work computer course in Southport. Campaigning offers me the opportunity to meet with amazing and simply the best GC residents.

13.01.2022 Not sure what happened and why We were told southport community centre was closed to pre polling at 6 pm and it was all packed up and voters sent to RunawAy Bayu However on checking with returning officer it had re opened by 7 til 9pm tonight More uncertainty at a time of uncertainty Election fun and games ... This industry sector has been hit hard with many rural and regional towns losing the biggest trading day in their annual community calendar....
