23.01.2022 We are publishing a puzzle! I know! Crazy hey?! Josh dreamt up a scheme during lockdown to try and help fund CAW in this new era where arts funding will be su...per competitive and less reliable for organisations. So he spoke to some of the CAW alumni to see what art might work well and Pat Grant pulled out this work. We are Kickstarting it all of October in the hope that we can cover the costs of producing this crazy endeavour. If we do that, all profits thereafter (100%) will go directly to CAW to help them run their residency program in 2021.

Hey, I’m gunna have an exhibition of art from my work in progress Swallows Part Two at the @moonahartscentre from Thursday the 15th October and that night it will be an opened by @julia_drouhin. They will announce registration for the (free) event. Swallows is a graphic novel about travelling to the islands where Dad’s family were from in Italy, and trying to figure out what part of me is from there, if any part. Swallows is also about how migration is part of the history of all humankind. If you want to see art from the swallows series then look at this hashtag #swallowscomic

17.01.2022 Swallows Part Two @moonahartscentre Oct 15 - book at their website for opening night where we will hear @julia_drouhin wax lyrical about whatever the hell pops into her head to honour the 200 artworks on the walls that I slaved over for bloody ages.

17.01.2022 I attended the Comic Art Workshop in 2015, 2016 and 2019 and have now found myself as a director alongside the wonderful Eleri Harris as we plan for the 2021 workshop. This organisation has been transformational for me and my arts practice, giving me a network of peers who're also grappling with long-form comics, graphic novels and other ambitious comics. Arts funding is going to enter an age where things are mega competitive so I dreamed up this puzzle idea (whilst in Lockdown) to help us fundraise our next workshop. 07.01.2022 Reminiscing about the last time I performed at @Monafoma when I was on stage with Craig San Roque at The Odeon performing a live version of the graphic novel ‘The Long Weekend in Alice Springs’. Craig’s cap isn’t a MAGA hat, he was trying to make a vague reference Wim Wenders ‘Paris Texas’. In two weeks I’ll be performing again at St David’s cathedral with Bing/Santospirito with paintings from The Quoll.
