23.01.2022 What do you think? Did you know that the Government is planning on changing Public Transport in SA with some routes and stops completely facing the chop! While there are some new routes as well I have concerns about the impacts to our community especially those who rely on Public Transport to get to work, school and medical apportionments. 15.01.2022 Really sad to see news today that the move to an online only Messenger will be made permanent and will see job losses. The Messenger has been a source of news for our local community and many will not be able to access it in its digital format. Not everyone has access to the internet and many make the choice to still read the 'local paper'. As someone who publishes and edits the Aldinga Bay's Coastal Views, our local community newsletter, I know that costs are up and advertising revenue is down, but it is still a shame to see the physical paper go.

15.01.2022 Sad to hear the news of an assault at the Noarlunga Railway Station. If you were there around 5.50pm on Tuesday 14th and saw something, please contact the police. While Noarlunga Station does have CCTV this incident highlights the need for a strong partnership between the community, council and SAPOL. If I am elected, I will be your voice on council and will advocate for joint action between the State Government and Council to keep our residents safe throughout Onkaparinga. 10.01.2022 At a council meeting on 26th of May, the Council approved $1.55 Million to co-fund new facilities at the the Port Noarlunga Sports Ground. As a major sports centre in the Mid Coast Ward this is a welcome decision and will hopefully encourage a broader range of users to this great facility.

07.01.2022 It’s been four years since I first spoke at a council meeting seeking to get support for our ‘Place of Courage’ a public space which will mean many different things to the huge number of domestic violence victims who live in our community. It is great to see that we have made real progress this year and I hope that if I am lucky enough to be elected, I will be part of the council for its opening. 06.01.2022 Great to see the Government finally listening to the community today and ruling out the bus changes AND the closure of Service SA centres. 04.01.2022 With one of the Onkaparinga Councillors resigning, there will be council by-election. It is my intention to run in this election so that I can represent the interests of the community that I love on our council. Over the coming days this page will transform into a campaign page once again. If you live in Seaford Meadows, Port Noarlunga, Chrisites Beach, Chrisites Downs, Noarlunga, O’Sullivan Beach, Lonsdale or Reynella please consider voting for me. 04.01.2022 Packed room tonight at the Northern Community Forum. It would be great if the Mid Coast had a forum like this. Great engagement from residents as well as council and state politicians. Great to hear what issues Northern residents have given councillors are required to make decisions for the benefit of the whole council not just their ward.
