20.01.2022 Five years ago today, I was returning from Berlin, having taken part in the Interaktion conducting MasterClass over a weekend. Now I’m returning to take part in the Berlin Opera Academy for the two months.

15.01.2022 Had a great morning taking a rehearsal with the Westgate Concert Band in preparation for their 40th birthday celebrations. Thanks Nicole Marshall for the invite.

14.01.2022 It’s been 137 days since I last conducted an ensemble. I’ve been practicing the horn again to maintain that connection with music. It’s fun to relearn pieces and excerpts after conducting them. It gives me a greater appreciation of how my little contribution fits into the whole (I’m sure @collinsongeoff told me this at uni. 12.01.2022 Really excited to share with everyone that I will be attending the Berlin Opera Academy as an apprentice Kapellmeister from mid June til mid August. I'll be working on the magic flute and the crucible for two months and soaking up Berlin and surrounds.

03.01.2022 I am excited to have been invited to conduct the Berlin Opera Academy’s matinee performance of the crucible on Friday the 16th of August at the Delphi theatre in Berlin. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a stellar cast of musicians, creatives, and production team members over the last two months and it will be a fantastic way to end this time in Berlin.
