25.01.2022 Thanks to the brave cover star of the August issue of Weight Watchers Mag - Chantell Gasparri, seen here patiently holding a coffee from the good people at Traf...algar St Espresso in Annandale. Big thanks to all the crew on the day, as always. 25.01.2022 Eric Fortaleza is the recipient of the 2016 Performing Arts Residency for the Blacktown Arts Centre, has at least one Fender Bass for every day of the week, and... is a really lovely human being. An incredibly talented bass player, Eric leads a weekly jam session at the Arts Centre for young local musicians - the ‘West’ Sessions, encouraging and providing an opportunity for the kids out west to sharpen their skills and hone their craft. Big thanks to @soohungry and @blacktownarts for having me back - always such a pleasure. #blacktownartscentre #ericfortaleza #artsresidency #fender #westsessions #goingoutwest #portrait See more

22.01.2022 One from the archives, now up on the new website. A rear vision mirror view of the San Jacinto mountains. #archivalthursday #landscape #californiadreaming #sanjacinto

22.01.2022 Congrats to Elizabeth Looker for taking out the top prize at the 2016 National Portrait Prize last night. Here's my shot of Shogun, from the band Royal Headache, courtesy of the good folk at the ABC, and Rolling Stone, who sent me there in the first place. Thanks Shogun, thanks Cameron and thanks to the clan. You all rock. http://www.abc.net.au//shogun-2015-by-joshua-morris/7258112

22.01.2022 I recently got to photograph @diesel_music for @rollingstoneaus Living Legend series. Aside from being a great guy, and a great guy to work with, Mark Lizotte makes a mean cup of tea. Thanks #RollingStoneAus #diesel_music #livinglegend #blackandwhite #portrait #DieselAmericana #silver

20.01.2022 Loads of new work up on my site now. I'll have the entry for the 2016 National Photographic Portrait Prize up late next week, but in the meantime you can find it in the latest issue of Portait magazine. www.joshuamorris.com.au

19.01.2022 I reckon I had less than 5 minutes with Massimo Bottura for Sunday Life Mag, but he gave me everything I needed, and more, in a kind and patient way, ... that belied his exhaustion. #thanks @massimobottura @sundaylifemag @tegansadlier #sundaylife #massimobottura

17.01.2022 Really honoured and excited to shoot the new venture for the good people @cornersmith. Their new cafe, which opened earlier this week at 88 View St Annandale, i...s well worth the visit for great ethically sourced food, served in a wonderful atmosphere, with beautiful design work once again from @smithandcarmody Congratulations to you all. #cornersmith #cornersmithannandale #smithandcarmody #ethicalfood #annandale #yum #interiordesign See more

17.01.2022 I love a good carpark. So do Urban Theatre Projects, who are presenting their next work, Home Country atop this very Blacktown car park as part of the 2017 Sydn...ey Film Festival. Thanks @sydney_festival @blacktownarts and @utprojects for having me along for the ride. #HomeCountry #ThisIsHowWeMakeArt #blacktownarts #utprojects #carpark #theatre #sydneyfestival #sydneyfestival2017 See more

11.01.2022 I always enjoy working with Urban Theatre Projects. They give voices that aren't heard often enough in theatre a space to do so, outside of the conventional theatre space, and in doing so allow everyone to access the medium. Blak Box is just such a project, allowing first nations stories to be heard by anyone who wishes to book a free ticket to do so. The Box, a purpose built space atop Barrangaroo, is a sight to behold, and an experience to cherish. Thanks again UTP for having me. http://www.abc.net.au//blak-box-artwork-invites-c/9833286

10.01.2022 The Urban Theatre Project’s Home Country is finishing up this Sunday, in the Colo St car park in Blacktown, as part of the 2017 Sydney Festival. If you’re lucky... enough to see it, feel free to view some of my work that the Blacktown Arts Centre is projecting onto the adjacent carpark on Campbell St. This image of @nancydenis and @dannyelacci and taken for Home Country is just one of many on rotation, in addition to those the BAC is projecting behind performers as a part of their Summer Streets program. Thanks once again to @utprojects @blacktownarts and @sydney_festival for the great opportunity to show off some of my favourite work. #HomeCountry #SummerStreets #NancyDenis #DannyElacci #thisishowwemakeart #Blacktown #Blacktownrtscentre #urbantheatreprojects #sydfest #thanks See more

09.01.2022 I got to shoot Royal Headache for Rolling Stone Australia last month, the results of which are in the current issue. A great bunch of guys to hangout with in a Putney boat shed. Thanks @rollingstoneaus and #royalheadache #rollingstoneaus #rollingstone #putneyrocks

09.01.2022 Thanks for the plug Fraser's.

09.01.2022 I got to photograph Neil Finn last year on a hot Sydney summer day. It was an honour and a pleasure to work with a man so close to my musical heart. Neil is cur...rently guest host on iTunes Radio, and this is the pic he used. 09.01.2022 Utterly humbled and thrilled to be a finalist for the National Photographic Portrait Prize for the second year running. Even more so as Narelle Autio is one of the judges. Many thanks @nationalportraitgallery #nationalphotogtaphicportraitprize #thrilled #portrait #2016

07.01.2022 Very proud to be a semi finalist in the 2018 Head On Photographic Portrait Prize with this image of photographer and artist Gary Trinh, taken last year for the Blacktown Arts Centre. Thanks to Gary for agreeing to lie in the middle of the road, but having the foresight to find one without traffic.

07.01.2022 Went down to Melbourne town last week to see the incredible David Bowie exhibition at ACMI. Such a great figure in so many ways, and an experience that jolted m...e back to this shoot of Paramore, at the Mojo record bar, for Rolling Stone, using the great Ziggy Stardust as part of the grandeur and spectacle. @paramore @rollingstoneaus @mojorecordbar @warnermusicaustralia #paramore #rollingstoneaus #rollingstone #ziggystardust #davidbowie #acmi #mojorecordbar #warnermusicaustralia #greattoshoot See more

04.01.2022 Congratulations to Hoda Afshar for her magnificent 'Portait of Ali' that took out this year's National Photographic Portrait Prize. It is a real treat to be finalist amongst so many fine photographs, and so many fine photographers. I'm chuffed to have my image 'Kid A' heading the online curatorial essay, which can be found here. http://www.portrait.gov.au/content/swimming-every-day

04.01.2022 Great to have my images of the new Cornersmith in Annandale feature online in Habitus Living this week. Check out the fine design work that Smith and Carmody and Johnathon West have created, and that I was able to document. http://www.habitusliving.com//cornersmith-a-cafe-with-a-co

03.01.2022 As a dog person, this shoot was a blast to be on.
