18.01.2022 ***ACHIEVEMENT ALERT*** warning... this is not pretty or glamorous by any means For those of you that know me, I’m certainly not one to be taking selfies or the like at the gym and I very seldom have my phone with me, however, this is something I have been working towards and am pretty damn happy with the outcome so far! MONKEY BARS... I’m getting there You’ll see in the vid that I have some significant scarring on and under my left arm which was quite restrictive at the start... my upper body strength keeps getting better though, and I will keep pushing... under a week to go I’ve got this

17.01.2022 *** Fundraiser update*** To all of my amazing supporters, we have reached over $4,170 so far for the Burnslife Foundation, and for that I couldn’t be any more grateful for your help in getting me there I’ll be leaving the link live until this coming Sunday the 2nd of December, so if you’d like to contribute I would be forever grateful! https://royalfundraising.everydayhero.com//one-hell-of-an-... 11.01.2022 To everyone of you amazing supporters, here is where we’ve reached regarding the fundraiser... I really feel like I can’t thank you all enough... my initial goal was $3,000, so to make $4,000 is mind blowing... I have a lot more photos to post up and will include complete albums of pics from both Dave & Mark once I have them all, so watch this space. Again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for following me on this journey. I am incredibly grateful

11.01.2022 *** SHOUT-OUT ALERT*** My Heroes... Below is an article that was written back on the 24th of July 2016 just days after I was admitted into Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital... I had absolutely no way of knowing what these surgeons go through and how valuable they would all be in my recovery. ... Dr Jason Brown, pictured on the right of the main picture, was my lead surgeon throughout my initial surgeries as well as the follow up laser treatments. He is honestly one hell of a man. I can’t recall many of our initial conversations within the first 2 weeks of being in hospital, but he has been there every step of the way over the last 2 years of recovery, along with Dr Carl & also Jason Miller. They all had an amazing sense of humor which in a time like that is critical especially when it came to interactions with my husband, Mick as well as my Mum, Karen. I am actually struggling to describe what these humans mean to me and after reading the attached article, you will be absolutely amazed at exactly what they go through on a day to day basis. These are my superhero’s and deserve absolute recognition to their chosen field of work. I really hope that one of them reads this and understands the gratitude that I have for each and every one of them. Words can’t express my gratitude to each and every one of you xxx

10.01.2022 UPDATE #5,482: we are sooooooo close! I have only $324 to reach my $3,000 goal please share away and help me get there before time runs out! We are only just over 3 weeks to go and I want to be on a winning side! To everyone that has supported me thank you SO much... the below Meme is pretty much my temperature gauge and will be for the rest of my life, but I keep on keeping on and what is to be is up to me. I will choose my own destiny and deal with the everyday challenges that we all go through... everyone is fighting a battle you may not know about... so be kind ALWAYS

05.01.2022 UPDATE Just over $583 remaining! I am so grateful to each an everyone of you! This DOESN’T include the cash donations I have also received from Karen Williams & Ted Sullivan of $150 which means only $433 to go... I added an extra monkey bar to my achievements today as well so am pretty chuffed . The callouses on my hands do tell the story As you may have seen, I’ve decided to have an obstacle hell after party, so I would love to see as many of you there as possible. Thank you all so much... I appreciate every little bit of support I receive

03.01.2022 Since my post regarding photographers for the event, I am super proud to say that I have 2 that have put themselves forward to help with this (they may yet change their minds since I released the map )! To both Dave Way Photography & Mark Murphy, thank you both so much for offering your services! You have absolutely no idea how much I appreciate it. Both of these gentlemen took the time to meet with me personally and ironically enough they are also involved in many ways with the local fire services! Who would’ve guessed I will post both of their websites in the comments so feel free to duck over and check them out... there is some amazing work that they have done. Guys, thank you both so much, and I can’t wait for you to help me get through ‘Hell’

01.01.2022 *** SHOUT OUT ALERT*** Hi again all and thank you so much for your amazing messages over the last few days!!! I am so blessed to have so many amazing people a part of this crazy journey of mine. A huge shout out goes to these 2 amazing humans for helping a girl out. I put up a post quite a while ago asking for photographers to help capture some fun and muddy moments of the event and these 2 guys stood up without even knowing me or my story. The most amazing thing about t...hem (aside from their photography skills) is that they are both Fire Fighters beleive it or not... Neither one of them knew of my story or what I had gone through, yet were so happy and willing to help! I'm sure we all appreciate their efforts since we've had the gruelling fires not far up north... I will be posting up a truck load more photos over the next week or so that these guys did - no charge and just for a good cause. I will post their FB pages in the comments, so if you need a good photographer, do not hesitate to give one of them a call. To both Mark & Dave, I can't thank you both enough x
