A time to reflect, recharge and plan for another year ahead. Thanks for all the support this year, either in my classes, in the studio on the reformer or with my NDIS work. It’s been probably one of my most satisfying work years to date. 2019 promises to be just as fulfilling and I can’t wait for it to begin. But first, a few weeks with the family to just be. 15.01.2022 Friday’s have definitely become one of our favourite days of the week, we go to gymnastics!! 45 minutes of running, jumping, climbing, bounding, rolling, laughing, getting sweaty, learning new skills and following instructions (we need to work on that bit ) Certainly makes me feel like she is doing something really worthwhile instead of watching YouTube kids on my phone. Yes, I admit I’m that mum sometimes. Nice work kids!

14.01.2022 Today started off with a little Pilates demo at daycare to celebrate physical activity week. I was very excited to bust out a few moves for a captive audience!! Saoirse was on hand to dish out stickers for excellent technique. The children did so well and we all had fun!

13.01.2022 The park bench workout. For those times in the great outdoors when we catch a few minutes to ourselves 1. Triceps dips - bent legs x 20 2. Step ups x 20 leading with each leg (40 altogether) 3. Push-up position hold 30 seconds followed by step outs x 10 each leg... 4. Triceps dips - straight legs x 20 5. Side bridge hold 30 seconds each side with top leg elevated Happy workout
11.01.2022 All this rain does leaves our last Pilates in the park session for tomorrow not looking too good with the ground almost certainly too wet We might be best to call it early, we will reconvene next year on Monday January 7. Such a bummer for our last one of the year but Mother Nature had other ideas! Thanks for making me a part of your Monday’s. It’s been terrific and I can’t wait to start again next year
11.01.2022 Today we started our day with coffee It used to be a regular thing until a few months ago when just simply getting out the door to get to daycare became my greatest achievement for the day! I don’t do pregnancy well and have suffered the last few months so it was nice to get back to a few of the things that are important to us. It’s the little things that matter and it was great to be back

08.01.2022 Tomorrow’s workout... 1. Push up hold 30 seconds 2. Alternate leg lifts in push up position x 20- remember to keep shoulders over hands and core turned on 3. Push up to prone hold x 10 then another 10 leading with the opposite arm... 4. Side bridge 30 seconds each side 5. 10 x ‘thread the needle’ in side bridge, repeat both sides
