20.01.2022 Happy December 1st! How's everyone tracking? Looking forward to a break from work soon? Holiday time with family and friends? : )... I want to put out there that if anyone is starting to feel not cool about this time of year, especially if you're single or feeling alone at this time, please drop me a msg, I'm happy to chat. I remember dreading the approach of Christmas as a single person. Year after year of feeling my single-ness at a time it was about family. It was especially hard living in another country from my childhood family if friends weren't around. It may be a different kind of Christmas this year for many many people, single or not, with family or not and I'd like to offer some kindness and support. 18.01.2022 Let's get going with the most important tool we've got - our breath! Are you breathing? You are because you're reading this. Most of us tend to live in our head and lose conscious awareness of our breath and our presence in our body. ... Noticing your breath now gives you a good indicator of how much potential there is to work with it in a different way and harness your own power. Just noticing and slowing or deepening your breath alters everything inside you and can reset your energy and focus. Try it now, try it as much as you can remember to.

As we spend time together, I’ll be sharing more about me and why I’m doing what I’m doing.... For now, let me explain a little more about what Journey with Sonya is about. Join me in experiencing new ways to see and experience the world we live in - both inside and out. Learn how to focus your consciousness on things that matter. To deconstruct your stories and re-define your life. Learn about your internal world and your unique internal navigation system. 06.01.2022 It's ok to feel unsure about what's going on right now It's ok to feel overwhelmed We're living in a world that is undergoing immense upheaval. You're allowed to feel whatever it is you feel.... You're human and we all feel the same at different times. Give yourself permission to acknowledge and experience what is churning inside. Seek ways to express it - talking, physical activity, journalling. Find support to help you with it. You have immense power within you and have ultimate control over how you want to experience your day. Whatever you perceive 'out there', whatever your situation or circumstance ... - bring your focus back inside yourself - take some deep slow breaths into your stomach - with each out breath, release tension, release anxiety, release fear - breath in calm, breath in safe, breath in relax Chose a better feeling thought for yourself, picture a better scenario for yourself, intend a positive outcome for whatever it is you are struggling with. Relax. Let it go and do something nice for yourself. You have the power to chose how you respond to anything in your life. Breathing consciously will help you move from reactor to creator and will ease tension in your mind, body and spirit. Don't give up and don't give in to doubt or fear. You've got this!
