The selection of foods sold at Yatai usually varies between regions also seasons so it is interesting to try them at each place! Our local guides know the best and will show you the best street food in the town and tell you secrets.... My most favourite one is Takoyaki, but when I go back to Kumamoto I always have grilled Red Wagyu skewers with cold beer which is the best street food for me! What is your favourite street food??

The "ichigo ichie" spirit applies to relationship of people gathered together for tea functions. The host and guests realise that, no matter how many times they may meet again, that day’s meeting will never be repeated... exactly in the same way. It is indeed that each meeting is a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. Thus the host takes great care in entertaining the guests and strives to make the gathering perfect. The guests, for their part, appreciate every attention of the host to entertain them. In a formal tea function, or Chaji, the guests enjoy a meal called kaiseki while exchanging some rounds of sake and pleasant conversation. The first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on 6th August 1945, and three days later the second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, which killed over 200,000 people. In Japan, 15th August is the End of war Memorial day.
