24.01.2022 Another appeal concluded on Wednesday for a local government client. It was an objector appeal however it was a very convivial affair with the objector and owner on good terms. It's great when it's about the issues and people can get involved in the process. Loving being back in front of the Tribunal.

23.01.2022 A great decision from the Tribunal overturning Yarra Ranges Council's decision to grant a planning permit for an inappropriate rural subdivision in the beautiful Lysterfield Valley despite an officer recommendation for refusal. Thank you to the passionate and watchful objectors from the Friends of the Glenfern Green Wedge Inc and the Green Wedges Guardian Alliance Inc for engaging me to present their case. It was very validating to have had the decision overturned. https://lnkd.in/gBkWjFZ

10.01.2022 Another tough day at work doing an inspection for another upcoming appeal...

10.01.2022 Great day on Monday for an inspection down at Rye for an up coming appeal!

08.01.2022 Working from a co-working space in the CBD for the day. It’s great to be around people and activity as I miss this working by myself. Anyone else working from a flexible work space?

06.01.2022 I always seem to choose great days for appeal site inspections. This time the beautiful Lysterfield Valley #inspection #appeals #itsahardlife

02.01.2022 Time flies... Wow! Two years already since resigning from YR and starting Journeyman Planning. I have been extremely fortunate to have left at a good time to start a consultancy and even more to have been supported by my family, some good friends and colleagues. Working for myself has been a learning curve, has brought its challenges and it’s rewards. I have rediscovered my love and interest in planning and I wonder if I will make the transition back into an organisation again and what the future will bring...
