25.01.2022 Looks like it’ll be awhile until we get to take flight to another part of the world.... in the meantime we can savour our memories of good times past. Istanbul in Turkey has to be one of my favourite cities ever! So much incredible history, culture, colour and of course amazing food! So for now I’ll dig out my Turkish cook books and reminisce. 17.01.2022 Our business has changed a lot over the past few years, from a market stall that we bought in 2014 (Asian Street Food) and worked in for three years with three of our kids to becoming a private catering company with just the two of us as the kids have grown and moved on. We are always learning, growing, changing... this is what makes life interesting right? 14.01.2022 Our review from Kae Lei and Dhanvir... Best asian caterer so far! We just had our wedding last Saturday with hot finger foods, entree and mains served by Ruby and Channa. We always wanted our guests to enjoy authentic asian food but theres not much option in Brisbane. We have been looking around, After the tasting plate we had, we knew that they are the one and reserve them with deposits straight away. The food were absolutely prepared with heart. The taste is authentic an...d amazing, presentation is gorgeous with fresh flowers !!, ingredients were fresh with homemade sambal! There's no second choice of caterer i would have gone if it wasnt for Journey street food. Most importantly, we received numerous compliments from our guests how much they enjoy the food of the night. Even with covid we couldn't have a grazing table or waiter to walk around with canepes, but Ruby made everything easy with a nice decorated bamboo boat with one of each finger food in them ! ( vegan) *Mexican pulled pork and black bean mole with pilau rice. *Mexican black bean, corn and vegetable mole with pilau rice. ( Vegan) Delivery will be Thursday or Friday this week. We will be taking payment COD or bank transfer. All are $10 each and a minimum order of six is required ( can be mixed) Delivery is free between Noosa and Maroochydore and to Nambour. There an additional $10 delivery outside of those areas. Please let me know your order and I’ll be in touch with the delivery details.

07.01.2022 This month is the first time post COVID that business has started to feel busy again. The past six months have been pretty surreal, with a some moments of anxiety about the future... one of the things we have done to stay sane is take off on mini adventures around the state ... discovering parts of Queensland that we have never been to before has given us a whole new appreciation for this incredible part of the world. We recently ventured out to Carnarvon Gorge. A lush oasis in dry Central Queensland, featuring incredible aboriginal artwork and dramatic limestone cliffs. It is well with the drive! @justqueensland

07.01.2022 Travel really does seem like a world away at the moment. I’m so grateful for the countries I’ve visited and lived in. They are my inspiration and my muse. Until the time comes when we can travel internationally again, we will continue to cook their cuisines as authentically as possible and bring a taste of the world to your tables! @rehahn_photography

05.01.2022 I often get asked "what's your most popular item?" it's hard to say, but the one thing that is always a crowd pleaser are our Indonesian chicken satays. There's something so comforting and familiar about creamy peanut sauce...but on top of grilled chicken on a bamboo skewer with a touch of spice....it becomes a little bit fancy! @bensowryphoto
