22.01.2022 Wacky Wednesday- Part 2! Our 3 year old Kindy and 4 year old Kindergarten group were intrigued by the chemical reactions made in our experiments today! Did you know not one of the children or their teachers could pop our air filled balloons? We jumped, we wobbled, we added more weight...but they didnt pop!... A very big thank you to Jess for sharing some fantastic resources with us.

21.01.2022 Our fantastic centre cooks have continued to provide nutritional, whole foods throughout our Victorian lockdowns. All of our meals are prepared fresh each day with our meal plans designed by leading pediatric nutritionist Mandy Sacher . Outdoor water play experiences are providing learning opportunities based on numeracy, counting, volumes/ measuring, concentration, socials skills and turn taking. The kindergarten children were completely engaged in these experiences!

04.01.2022 Sensory experiences in the nursery room Children use their senses to understand and connect with their world. In this experience, coloured water was frozen in gloves and various sized frozen ice cubes and sensory resources were added. There was a little hesitation by some but that quickly dissapeared. The children’s facial expressions, concentration and body language clearly showed how much they enjoyed this hands on experience.

04.01.2022 Diwali is a festival of lights mainly celebrated by Hindus. Our Kinder children participated in a special activity to celebrate this special occasion.

02.01.2022 This week in our Eco Warrior Inspire Program, we focused on growing our own seedlings and engaging with our local community. We thank Sharron from Whittlesea Hardware for spending some time to educate our nursery and toddler children and her kind donation of flowers and herbs to be added to our growing garden. We also thank many of our parents for their woolies seedlings, the children loved planting their seeds! ... We have some pretty enthusiastic future eco warriors
