24.01.2022 Did you know? We thrive when we spend regular time in nature. I met this little guy on a walk last week. I spent five minutes just chatting with this beautiful Kookaburra while parrots flew by and two ducks waddled by me. The afternoon sunshine gently shone through the leaves and it was such a precious moment.... I’m so thankful I now see the beauty of Creation and love regularly spending time outdoors. Every day is truly a gift. I found so much healing spending time outdoors, slowing down and appreciating the gorgeous little things this life has to offer us. Current research supports what many people including myself personally can attest to; outdoor time amongst God’s Creation is healing for our bodies, souls and minds. Spending just 120 minutes a week outdoors whether at a park, the beach, going for a bike ride or hiking in a rainforest have wonderful effects on our health and feeling of wellbeing. These benefits and others are why I host my coaching sessions outdoors in parkland in the Northern suburbs of Brisbane. To help you reconnect with God, discover being present in the moment and learn how to live a health filled life so you can live out your purpose. If you can’t attend sessions in person, why not take your laptop or phone to your balcony or even a park and enjoy the sunshine, birdsong and dragonflies flying past as we work on creating your Nourished Life Game Plan. Contact me for more details. What beautiful experiences have you had outdoors recently? Have a beautiful evening, With grace & hope. 24.01.2022 What are some ways you love to slow down and be present in the moment? I've just recently cut down on social media and Youtube to give myself space to breathe. Already, in the short time I've noticed my thinking is clearer, I feel more peaceful, less argumentative, more relaxed and I have more clarity. It got me thinking, what did we do before social media and constant technology took over our lives? I mean that in the nicest, most beautiful way possible.... We went for walks with loved ones, without headphones in. Had picnics in the park. Read into the evenings Had conversations at the dinner table with family. Played board games and puzzles. Listen to gorgeous, peaceful music and create a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere at home in the evenings. and had space to think and pray and be. We have a choice in this hectic world to slow down in the constant hum and step aside for a moment. Connect deeply with those around us, have longer conversations with our mums because we don't feel distracted, go for walks and truly take in the beauty around us, enjoy a delightful book that blesses our souls. What activities do you adore that you would love to spend more time doing? Share your thoughts below and let's encourage and inspire each other to be intentional with our time. So if you've felt disconnected, stressed and discontented, consider ways to connect more deeply, be more intentional and feel more present in the moment. If you would like to develop strategies to help you move from overwhelm to feeling more relaxed and in control of how you spend your time please reach out and I'd love to equip, encourage and cheer you on & help you create beautiful habits that bring you calm. Coaching sessions available to help you find your balance, intention & peaceful days. See more

21.01.2022 What are some beautiful activities you can do when you’re experiencing a flare up? Perhaps adventure isn’t on the cards, but there are still some lovely activities you can enjoy when you’re not feeling well. Living with endometriosis for at least 13 years has given me plenty of time to discover ways to enjoy each day, even while living with a chronic condition. ... Here are a few activities I enjoy that don’t take much energy and keep me close to home so I can rest if I’m not feeling up to leaving the house. Some gentle gardening in the sunshine. Perhaps do a little weeding, plant some seeds, check on the growth of your veggies and marvel at how beautiful this is. Put on a load of washing and pause while you hang the washing out to consider what you’re grateful for Bake something quick and easy like a delicious brownie mix minus the nasties @melindasgfg Spend some time colouring in and creating something beautiful Take time away from social media and enjoy the peace and quiet Enjoy lunch in the sunshine, watch the birds and dragonflies and appreciate the opportunity to be still-eat nourishing food. Read gorgeous scriptures that encourage and bless your heart Listen to uplifting, peaceful piano worship music and create a gorgeous sanctuary at home On those days where you have pain, acknowledge that it’s ok to rest. Enjoy some simple, yet joyful activities and appreciate the opportunity to be still. Tomorrow, or the next day when you feel well enough you can cycle, run, catch up with friends and be more energetic...today, be present, live with gratitude, enjoy the sunshine and enjoy the simple things. Reach out if you’d love to discover ways to create your own sanctuary at home #inspired #connection #renewing your mind #livelifebeautifully #encouraged #ttc #PCOS #womenoftheword #sheiscalled #seekhimfirst #miscarriage #infertilitysupport #hope #cultivatethelovely #christianwomen #childloss #1in8 #goals #chronicillnesswarrior #infertilityawareness #endometriosis #graceupongrace #propelwomen #shereadstruth #shedelights #choosejoy #livebeautifully #gracemakers #sunset #ministry

20.01.2022 It's so beautiful receiving such lovely feedback. Helping women move from overwhelm to overflowing with gratitude & lack of motivation to regularly exercising is such a blessing and something I'm so grateful for. "Together Bec and I explored my personal long term vision. To be a fit, healthy, elegant woman in my 70’s.... We established goals that would help me achieve that goal. Bec gently and compassionately probed my perceived obstacles, some of which had been self-imposed. We discussed attitudes, perceptions, life choices and many other things I’d never opened up about before. We started with a healthy eating plan. A predominately plant-based diet that had a focus on food that would nourish my body and give it every possible chance to recover. It was delicious and incredibly easy to prepare. I didn’t consider it as being on a diet. We worked on rest. Learning that rest and adequate sleep were integral components of recovery. Instead of frustration and fighting against my symptoms I learned to appreciate quiet time, relaxation techniques and peaceful gratitude for the beauty around me. When my body relaxed, sleep improved. To my surprise, I was able to achieve periods of sleep during the day and up to 7 or 8 hrs sleep at night. This energised me. We developed an exercise plan. Baby steps to start with is Bec’s strategy. Starting with a gentle stroll up the street a few times a day I gradually increased to a brisk 5km walk several times a week. Daily Pilates stretching exercises and a weekly Pilates studio class were part of my routine. In 2019 I purchased a push bike and after a 50 year lapse I began cycling again. One shaky kilometre to start with, gradually building up to 10 to 15km beautiful rides along creek side and forest trails near my home. I still have my autoimmune diseases but my symptoms and medication have substantially reduced. I firmly believe that I will be a fit, healthy and elegant woman in my 70’s."-Mary It's never too late to set your vision of wellness & achieve your goals. If you would love coaching to help you live joyfully nourished, DM me for details. With hope & grace, Love Becci.

16.01.2022 "Womb still barren, arms empty of children but heart now full of gratitude for the blessing of eyes opened wide to the wonder of life. His heart for His creatures shown in the blessing of raindrops and the glisten of particles floating on air. Moonbeam on water, fireflies emerging in evenings of Summer, wattle blooming in the yellow display. Mass of colour, the majesty of mountains, the rush of oceans blue, towering Sequoia all pointing to the heart of the Creator. " F...rom Chapter 11 'Carrying Hope- Journey into a grace filled life'. 16.01.2022 Where is your health now and where would you like to be? I remember those days of almost constant pain and having to have regular naps or spend the day in bed. I remember being too tired to walk to the letterbox or have a shower.... I also remember how my mind was filled with envy and jealousy at what others had and what I longed for so deeply. Yet as I sat there, by the creek watching the turtles and enjoying the sunrise and cool winter morning wrapped in soft blanket I was reminded of how sweet it is to be well enough to go for walks with dear friends. I will always remember the pain of those days but I do so now with joy at how simply beautiful each day is, now that my eyes have opened to the wonder around me. For so long each day simply melted into the next and I didn’t see how incredibly beautiful even these still quiet hours were. I didn’t appreciate how wonderful this life is. Yes with its trials and yes with its challenges but it is so very wonderful when we have eyes to see it. I still have occasional pain, I still have days where I’d rather rest and just be. However there are so many more days of walks and cycling and exploring this beautiful sunshine state of ours. I’m thankful for these trials and I have come to embrace this life with endometriosis. Over many years I have discovered a sweetness in just how much I appreciate the simple things in life and for that I’m so grateful. If you live with infertility and endometriosis and would love someone in your corner who really understands what this journey is like, I would love to be that woman. That lady who cheers you on, encourages and motivates you to wake up each day with joy, a grateful heart and enthusiasm to do all she can today with what she has been given. Reach out to discuss how Coaching with Joyful Morning Wellness can help you to go from overwhelm to gratitude, pain to enjoying each day and discover a life lived with wellness, peace and thankfulness even with arms empty of children. God bless With hope & grace, Becci. What are you grateful for now that you didn’t appreciate fully in the past?

11.01.2022 Gentle tips for a flare up Over the years I’ve discovered some ways to gently manage endometriosis flare ups, some are simple and some take a little more planning. Rest is your friend, take time to rest & enjoy a hot bath or shower ... Eat small meals if larger ones cause too much pain Be mindful of the food you eat; try to make it nourishing and consider cutting out dairy and gluten (but check with a specialist first) Herbal Tea is delightful, Communication is key; let your loved ones know how much pain you’re in so they can love and support you Find a specialist who you trust. There are some great ones out there, DM me if you need some recommendations (Brisbane, Australia) Gentle walks and sunshine are great for you, get outside and enjoy the little things If you can, work part time. It might be a luxury for some but if it’s in your means, a part time job will reduce stress and give you more time to rest Remember: it isn’t your fault. Some flare ups happen due to foods we eat, but many happen for no reason. Even if you ate something that triggered it, you’re human and you didn’t do anything to deserve this. Pray. Give thanks to God for the blessings you do have in your life, there are many, trust me Discover essential oils- some are wonderful for pain. Do your research and equip yourself with knowledge and an amazing kit of delightful oils Choose gratitude-each day, consider three things in your life that you’re grateful for. Life is but vapour, enjoy your days here sweet sister Be gentle; on yourself, on others, with your words and in your thought life. You may not have control over whether you have Endo but you can decide to live with gentleness Develop a healthy living strategy to help you combat and courageously manage the symptoms of endo. 07.01.2022 What challenges have you overcome? When you look back on your life, what obstacles and difficulties have you climbed, prayed through and come out the other side of? We each have our own Goliath. Many of us have a whole army of them to defeat.... When I look back over my life here are a few of them; Being born without a left hip joint (no asetabulum, very small head of femur)...three operations as a child to correct this, full body plaster and learned how to walk again as an 8 year old. Born with a syndrome that involved multiple organs with doctors unsure if I had reproductive organs until scans showed that I did later in childhood Significant family illness and subsequent struggles for many years Lost our baby at 10 weeks gestation Diagnosed with endometriosis and subsequent intolerances and associated diagnoses Clinical depression and anxiety for many years Five years of an adoption journey where we didn’t bring home a child 14 years of infertility And yet, I’m not broken, I’m joyful I’m not in anguish, I rejoice I might have fallen thousands of times but I’m back in the game and loving life Living with chronic illness but make the most of every day Not healed but healing I’m not sharing my story for sympathy (I’m so understanding that we all have our own struggles) but to let you know that you aren’t forgotten and that there is hope for brighter tomorrows. Weeping may last for the night But joy truly does come in the morning That is the story behind ‘Joyful Morning Wellness’. Psalm 30:5 It’s an acknowledgement of the love, faithful prayers, cheering from the sidelines, holding my hand, laughing with me, giving space for me to heal, encouraging me forward and sometimes showing tough love of my precious husband, parents, family and friends and the faithfulness of God. It’s also a reminder to remember that everyone has their own valleys to walk and to be mindful of the journey others travel. Thank you for following here, it is my prayer that my story, the trials I’ve overcome and the joy that now fills my days will encourage and uplift you. If you would love to discover life, living present in the moment, please DM me and our hot cup of tea chats online or in gorgeous parkland will help you discover joyful, health filed days. God bless sweet sister, With grace & hope, Love Becci
