25.01.2022 Seeker of the infinite. I've never seen so many stars in my life. Heck, I've never even seen the milky way with my own two eyes. The vastness of our galaxy surely does make us reflect on our minute existence and at the beauty of the craftsmanship of God. My fascination with stars, the galaxy and space was reignited that night. I had to move far away from everyone else because I was giggling like an idiot. It was my first time doing a vertical pano and Astro Photography in ge...neral. I didn't take into consideration the tail and head of the milky way and hence the weird shape. I don't mind though. Don't we photographers see the apparent differently than everyone else? This is what I saw, standing at the edge of Serpentine Dam. If nothing else, this small part of WA sure has one heck of a sky to show. I think I will set out on an adventure to do proper landscapes some time soon =] I dedicate this photo to Anjum Mitul as both of our first names mean "Star" and you mean no less than the universe to me <3 The sky had invited me to go out on a new adventure. For someone who never does landscapes, I would really love to capture all the beauty I come across =] Keep me in your prayers. Till next time! ()*: Huge thanks to Kenny Ngoo for posing. Sorry for all the trouble I always put you through. You're a legend <3

25.01.2022 Solitude. Had one more picture in the works from the Nikon Z shoot. Im aiming for another spot on Capture Mags "Australias Top Emerging Photographers 2019" after somehow managing to get into the 2018 one ;-;. This time Im going in as a portrait shooter, stepping out of the student zone. Please do keep me in your prayers! Loved editing this one. Was the last picture I could import before the XQD card was taken away from me :( The pictures taken after this were way bette...r but I believe theyre floating around the globe somewhere inside a lonesome Z 7 v.v Yet again I have no clue who the model is. If you do know her, please give her a tag. I feel terrible posting pictures of artists and not being able to credit them. I am currently trying to amp up the studio at home and doing shoots for my book. Thank you again for all the support! Till next time ()*:

18.01.2022 I ended up being really late but I was lucky enough to capture a few shots <3 Thank you for such an amazing event Yobe ChibiCon. Please be advised, if you do not like your pictures here then please do let me know, they will most certainly be removed from the album and I apologize to all those who were uncomfortable with taking pictures in the first place. Truly very sorry.

18.01.2022 I was told by a very skilled artist yesterday to post, no matter what I have. To overcome the fear of rejection and make use of it as fuel to try harder for the next project. I guess it does feel good to look back at how much you improve by yourself but its even better when the kind people who support your work follow you through the journey. For which I shall for ever be grateful <3 The last two were very experimental. Another attempt to bridge 2d and 3d together at which ...I splendidly failed but learnt many valuable lessons. The intent was to express the different personalities we conceal and the different masks we wear in front of people just to be accepted by others. The idea of the mask is definitely borrowed from few different artists. Being inspired by them was also a part of the project. Execution was the challenge. Looking back to this after six months, THAT JUST LOOKS CREEPY AND THE CRINGE IS INTENSE. () ps. Thank you again Kristin and Eaimt <3

16.01.2022 By oath of the morning light and the darkness that envelops the night, embrace the year that befalls you. Happy new year everyone <3 Work hard and prosper for the next one. Luck be with you! I thank you for all the support I have received over 2017, IT WAS INTENSE I would say. 2018, here we come!

15.01.2022 A Friday very well spent with my friend Iago Ribeiro Vieira Rosa, a real life ninja. I dont usually do this but I put both BW and color versions as some people like color more.

14.01.2022 May the sun set for you

13.01.2022 2019 was the fastest year I have ever experienced. It felt like being left behind by a train just a few feet away, never stopping for you to catch a breath. If you are the same as me, I pray for a much better 2020 where you will be on that same train, headed straight towards your goals, do what you really want to do. As dramatic as it may sound, I felt exactly what David Fincher meant by everyday being a copy of a copy, being stuck in an endless loop of University stress and ...work. It really does trap you within your mind and limit your creativity. I hope to quit University and start working fulltime towards my goals from now on. Ive learnt first hand, under the infinity of the universe how 8 hours turn to mere 30 seconds of video. Ive learnt the value to time. We artists simply dont have enough time to be shackled in our own minds. I pray for your freedom, from yourself. May you break free and keep on creating. May time be your friend, in 2020. A happy new year, to everyone. Thank you for all your continued support ;-; This journey is probably impossible without all of you supporting me. A huge thank you to all the people I got to know and learn from this year. All the connections that were made stronger and the all the new ones, I cherish you with all my heart. I hope we can continue to grow together. Make sure to keep on creating! I shall too. Till next time ()*: Audio by the amazing Ben, at bensound.com

13.01.2022 Eid Mubarak everyone! May Allah bless you all. Just trying something random. #eid #eid2018

13.01.2022 23rd of January, 2009 was the first time I came across Adobe Photoshop cs 3, I came across Adobe. I was introduced to magic. We took pictures with a Nokia n70 and composited them. Took them into after effects and created the crappiest of effects. Made the worst animations with Adobe Flash and terrible un-responsive websites with Dreamweaver. Fast forward to 10 years, even though I havent gotten that good, I cant imagine a single day without using pretty much everything fr...om the Adobe Cc Suit. Many of the software have become an extension of my mind. My entire adventure as an artist is pretty much entirely based on Adobe Products. And so I am thankful. Adobe has opened a new world for artists all around the globe and even though they doubled their prices, I believe they deserve a lot of our appreciation I know its a month too late for the new years post but HAPPY NEW YEAR. I just wanted to wait till this day to make this the first post of 2019 as it meant a lot to me. I pray the year brings you contentment and love I pray for a year which evolves us into better people and better artists.

12.01.2022 This is from a recent photo shoot with Abbas, an upcoming actor/model from Perth. I tried to make the head shots at least a little bit filmy and different from most head shots as he is going to be in films some day. Wishing him the very best on his ventures :} Would love to do more headshots/commercial shoots if someone is interested. Just slide into the dms and well have a chat e-e Ive been trying to experiment with newer colors but I believe I have hit a slight slump. Am forever bad with poses and postures but am starting to get a little better with it hehe. Hoping to get some shots on the Canon RP photo walk. Please do keep me in your prayers! Till next time! 12.01.2022 Nikon Z-series workshop with Rocco Ancora and Nikon Australia. I got to learn so much from Rocco. He truly is an inspiration. I tried to mimic him and observe his techniques as much as I could. People like him remind me how hungry I am to capture the ordinary in a phenomenal way and how much I have to learn. Wish I could go on an adventure with him some time. Really am sad that I couldnt get my best pictures out as I had to give the card back before transferring them. These are some of the random ones that did turn out to be something. Changed my mind about the Z series. For a while now I felt like Nikon has been lacking with their prices and features but its not too bad for Nikon users who are familiar with the system. Going to wait for the next generations to roll in. Im hoping for good things.

11.01.2022 Step outside cus summer times in bloom.

10.01.2022 A practice with one light. I played quite a bit for the first time with basic retouching. Unfortunately I dont know the name of the talent. If any of you do, please do tag her ^-^ Thank you for letting me take pictures of youuu. Weve been upto some interesting things recently! The home studio is slowly coming to a reality. Thank you for all the support. ... Sharpness of the Rf 85m 1.2 always gets me *-* Till next time! ()*: #perth #perthphotographer #pertstory #perthmodels

09.01.2022 Havent posted in a while. Thought Id update a little bit and review the EOS R. Pictures are from a shoot with the Canon Collective just outside digiDirect in Perth. Being surrounded by such talented and skilled people truly does empower you. Lily is the best model Ive had the luck of shooting tbh. Tag her if you know her page. Read on for the review! Shots were taken on the 24-105mm f4. ISO was set up to 12,500 just to test out the low light performance and I must say I wa...s quite impressed. A little bit slow on the focus at times but to be fair it was quite dark from time to time. Other than that the ergonomics feel quite good. Images are sharp and clean. A lot of variation for every kind of users with the customizable dials, new lens functions, adapters and etc. You can touch the screen to set focus points while looking through the view finder which was pretty sweet. That 30mp full frame feels like a medium format at times. SUPER CLEAN. The adapters(control rings) are pretty handy for videographers as filters can be put straight on the adapter which fixes the problem of buying different ND filters for each lens. Tracking and focus racking is a bit slower than the 6D mII is what Ive experienced. Sadly there is no IBS(in body stabe) that many people were looking for but there is a makeshift way to do it which just crops your footage like warp stabilizer. (NOT RECOMMENDED) Shoots 10bit C log and 4k, 30 but sadly no 1080p, 120. Its a great camera and all, definitely has its market but Id say its not for me. As much as I love Canon, Id say the EOS R does not have that much of a competitive advantage over the Fujifilm x-t3, Sony A7III or the Nikon Z7. (personal opinion, the camera could be perfect for you). #eosR #canoncollective #canonaus #canon

08.01.2022 A play on red. A long awaited post from a project from almost six months ago that implored exploration of ones boundaries of fragility and boldness. Definitely did not do it justice this time as I failed the assignments but heh I had fun and learned a lot <3 Thank you Kristin Chan for going through the trouble of posing for such an inexperienced photographer. Huge thank you to Eaimt Myet Thwe for all the makeup. You both are very skilled and beautiful individuals. Wishing you the very best as always <3 Ill try better next time. Until then, bless you all! 08.01.2022 New blog post from the recent Fishing trip at Bussleton <3 https://www.joygraphs.me/bussleton-2018

08.01.2022 In honor of the fish.

07.01.2022 Do you always look this good? Part 2.

06.01.2022 Lighting workshop with Seng Mah. I had such a wonderful time and learnt great things from him. Always feels good to be around such knowledgeable people. Jason Cantle is such a good looking man that the pictures turn out good no matter how you take it haha. Thank you both for all your help <3 Didn't retouch his skin as much as it looked so good with the texture ;-; Also, Canon colors and the sheer sharpness of 85mm f1.2 with the Eos R is insane. Sam and I are thinking of how ...to setup our little studio. The next debate is on continuous and strobe lights. Yesterday's workshop really has me thinking. Really keen on diving into the depths of lighting as soon as I can. Thank you everyone for your support. Until next time <3 ()*: digiDIRECT.com.au is hosting weekly events such as these. 04.01.2022 Christopher. An attempt on painterly portraits at Parker & Stone with few of my favorite people who I'm lucky to call friends. The whole journey right now is about understanding light and how it works. As a newbie I must start from the beginning! For the first part to acheive my understanding I plan to seek inspiration from renessance artisans and old masters such as Rembrandt Van Rijn, Anthony van Dyck, Tiziano Vecellio and many others. Photographers like Paulina Duczman an...d Barbara MacFerrin to name a couple are probably my favorite artists who take spectacular painterly portraits. Trying to figure out how they do their magic is a great challenge that I've already been failing at for the last couple of weeks. Slowly but surely perhaps I can uncover some of the secrets. I find it extremely difficult to speak to people in general. Posing models is one of the hardest things for me. I'm glad that I get to work with great models like Christopher who are naturally awesome at posing and looking good! If anyone has read this, thank you. I BIG APPRECIATE U OLWES. These small blogs are mostly to record my own progress from my shitty current self to a hopeful better future artist. Till next time Stay blessed!

02.01.2022 A memory forgotten. Nearly three years ago, I was lucky enough to accompany a group of treasure hunters, mathematicians and engineers. Life has been so busy with all the stress and uncertainties, we tend to forget those moments of unparalleled peace and uniqueness. Looking back at them really does give you hope and make you feel glad about all the things that have happened in life. I am so very glad I found this picture in an old server, hidden away from even my memories. Sho...t on the 6d ii, I remember complaining about the dynamic range being terrible. I took it back to "camp" and pulled all the highlight sliders to the left and all the saturation sliders to the right to get details back - cloning on the areas of where all the details had escaped the sensor. I was really happy with this edit back then. I guess I never posted it because for the next two weeks we didnt have any internet and life caught up with me. Or maybe because looking at it from a photographers perspective, it is a crap image. After all this time, time has allowed me to look at it as a memory and suddenly it seems great. Take all the pictures you can, good or bad. They may as well end up being proof of your existence. Till next time! ()*:
