13.01.2022 Thank you to all of our members who helped out around the garden throughout June, despite the challenges of COVID-19. All these things have been achieved by JOTE members over the last month: - Pruning, potting and weeding - Shifting mulch... - Tidying of the tool shed and pots bay - Planting outside the toilet area - Installing bird bath outside the native garden - Laying out the new terrace garden beds - Trimming Thank you to those members that work tirelessly to maintain and improve our beautiful space! 04.01.2022 COVID 19 Update: After consultation with the Frankston Council and the committee in early March, it was decided that formal working bees would be cancelled until further notice. Two gardeners only are to be on the top level (including the rotunda) at any one time and two gardeners only on the bottom level at any one time. DO NOT COME TO THE GARDEN IF YOU HAVE FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS. . Hope everyone is keeping well and getting some gardening in during their isolation time! ... . Great things to plant this month include garlic (pointy end up), broccoli, lettuce, bok choy and peas. .
