22.01.2022 Meet our Team! This is Jordon, he’s our knight in high-vis. Jordon is our truck driver here at Joy-Ride towing. ... Jordon has around 27 months experience in the towing industry and is all about getting you and your car home safely. Jordon is the one you’ll speak to if you give us a call, he’s the one who you’ll see when your vehicle, machinery or otherwise is picked up for travel. It’s also his birthday tomorrow on Friday the 13th . Don’t forget to wish him a Happy Birthday and keep your eyes peeled for a potential deal coming up to celebrate.

20.01.2022 We really do everything in this business. Not too long ago we travelled up to the Woodford Folks Festival with this Gourmet Seafood Catering Van Catch and Kiss. Claudette was a wonderful passenger and it was great to be able to deliver this beaut to the festival to ensure the attendees had some delicious food to fuel them for the day.

18.01.2022 Here at Joy Ride our customers are our greatest priority. We want to ensure the safety of our staff and customers, so with the growing concerns around the coronavirus we are taking extra precautions to ensure our services are still available in this time of need. There is no doubt that COVID-19 is having a large and everlasting affect on the world and here in Australia and our thoughts are with those affected. ... While we recognise that this pandemic has heightened our sense of hygiene and required all of us to be vigilant in our daily activities to mitigate the consequences for those around us, we also understand that lives go on and car troubles still happen. We do ask that all customers booked in with us advise us prior to pick up if they are feeling unwell or are sick, so we can ensure our staff are able to implement the necessary precautions for yours and our own safety at this time. We have continued and increased our usual cleaning and sanitation of our vehicle to maintain cleanliness and mitigate spread of germs. Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue to monitor the situations and heed the advice of industry leaders, keeping you informed of any changes. We also would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to the health workers, governments and local communities for your tireless efforts in containing the spread of this virus. Thankyou for your continued support. Joy Ride Towing.

05.01.2022 Let’s talk distracted driving. In Queensland, and all other states in Australia, it is illegal to use or touch your phone whilst driving. In Queensland alone, getting caught will cost you a $1,000 fine and 4 of your demerit points from your licence - if you’re lucky. ... If you’re not lucky, you could end up in an accident. If you’re caught with your phone and cause an accident, your insurance will not cover you, so your car will probably be written off, if you’ve hit another car, you’ll be up for the costs of repairs and if you’re super unlucky, you could cost either yourself or someone else their lives. Is it worth it? The short answer, no. Imagine this, there’s a drunk driver, or a sober driving using their phone, they hit your mother, brother, sister or child’s car and they’re killed instantly. How angered would you be? How distraught would you feel? Think of that before you reach for your phone. The call can wait, the text will still be there when you stop, and social media really isn’t going anywhere either. Because yours and everyone else’s lives are not worth seeing that hilarious video 10 minutes earlier.
