25.01.2022 Rats had eaten out the top and bottom of this storm water pipe boxing and were getting stuck and dying in a storage room. To make sure it doesn't happen again the new boxing was capped with steel wool at the top and totally replaced. Going the extra mile to achieve a long term fix is what we do at Jim's Termite & Pest Control.

25.01.2022 This was my 3rd visit to a client of mine that I started a termite baiting system for back in winter. He has termites throughout his pagola and baiting was a better option then chemical. Activity has really increased as it warms up and this is the 2nd bag coming out 3rd bag of bait went in. Termite baiting is the best way to achieve colony elimination and recommend as first point of call in termite control.

24.01.2022 So today was a little stormy but the view was still amazing! This client had pigeons nesting under there solar panels, big problem particularly on the coast line. Not anymore and this is a permanent fix.

23.01.2022 Many may not know this but we also build cat enclosures. The laws on cat ownership are cracking down on cats roaming the streets, this is a great way to keep your cat safe as well as having a outside space. Build time 1 day, choice of many different materials to suit home owners as well as rentals. This client went with a timber and shade cloth look to match there homes colours and as you can see it looks great from the neighbours side to. Contact me for a no obligation free quote.

21.01.2022 This is a commercial building i was called out to with a termite problem, as you can see the door frame finally gave way. Upon inspection it was apparent that the infestation was wide spread! It is highly likely that the same colony is responsible so to best reach the heart of the problem a baiting system has been set up to achieve colony elimination rather then a spot treatment. This is first point of call according to Australian Standards. Once feeding has started termites become 100% reliant on the bait and will sease eating wood, this way the bait is transported throughout the colony far and wide. Will update progress in 6 weeks upon 2nd refresh of bait.

21.01.2022 Merry Christmas from Roxy & Kev at Jims Termite and Pest Control

15.01.2022 Roxy and I did a partial termite barrier on a local school we regularly service. Termites came though the wall and ate out the skirting boards. We replaced the skirting boards and did a non repellent barrier (Termidor) of this area (17mtrs). This is a non detectably chemical rather then using a repellent chemical. Instead it will take care of termites traveling in both directions through this area. The Only chemical to use when doing a partial barrier treatment!

08.01.2022 This was a inspection I did today, this shows the importances of avoiding mulch around your home. Mulch (even dyed mulch) is going to attract termites close to your home. Fortunately this client had a chemical barrier done 12 months ago and the mulch was not rite next to the home.
