20.01.2022 Cute ponies are just part of the job This is Dusty who has very flat feet. With a short trim schedule we can keep them from growing too far forward and straining his tendons (and affecting the way he moves, creating muscle issues further up). They are slowly beginning to form more depth and even some concavity if you tilt your head sideways and squint a little. Remember, hooves are a marathon, not a sprint, and small frequent adjustments are the best way to create positive change.

12.01.2022 Look at this handsome old man. He is such a gem he holds his hoof on the stand all by himself He is on a slightly shorter trim cycle at 4 weeks as he doesn't move around lots so his feet don't wear down naturally (and some horses just grow them quick!)

01.01.2022 Lucky me got to spend the last day of 2020 with this beautiful old lady. This mare is very stoic with a rough history she has carried in her body for many years. I feel very grateful she allowed me to help her today. We were very happy with her response and her lowering her head after the session ... Happy New Year to all and may 2021 hold many more beautiful horsey experiences!
